Do Not Purchase!!
I am so disappointed with this purchase. It is very very slow, when you shut it down, it comes back on by itself. I would NOT recommend this purchase.

Good until the warranty expires - and then watch out
I don't have this iteration of the XPS 27, but since I stumbled across this while looking for a replacement for mine, I thought that I would weigh in.I loved the computer when it worked - it was stylish, relatively fast, and the monitor was excellent. Unfortunately, it only worked until the warranty expired, and then 12 days later it stopped recognizing the main internal hard drive. The solid state drive still worked, but not the main 2TB hard drive. Dell said tough luck. Dell recommended that I replace the hard drive which I did - no luck. They then suggested that it was the power cable to the hard drive, which I also replaced - again, no luck. They have since suggested that I replace the motherboard. I won't print my response. So for the past year, I have limped along just using the SSD, but I have run out of room, and I am also getting CPU fan failure warnings. So now I am shopping for a replacement. I was torn between rating this computer at 1 stars vs. 2 stars. I gave it the benefit of the doubt based upon my positive experience during the first one year and 12 days of use, and the possibility that I just got a lemon. I wish Dell would have been more cooperative in helping solve my problems given that I was only 12 days past expiration of the warranty when the computer crashed. A computer this expensive should not fail so completely during its early operating life. Maybe other purchasers will have better luck - but if you are considering buying this computer, I would definitely get the extended warranty.
