Kids love playing with this
Our 3 kids love playing with this rat. It's very easy to use (our 3 year old has no problem controlling it with the remote), and it works great. It's fast and has taken getting run into the wall pretty hard with no issues. I'm sure the kids will break it eventually, but so far, it's held up well. And they've had a blast scaring friends and relatives with it. It does make a sound, but it's not loud.

Junk RF sponge
So sad, I just wanted something to play with the cats. First and foremost, THIS THING IS LOUD. It is so loud it scares the hell out of the cats. The motor is louder than any 1970's cheap RC car I ever had. Second, this thing apparently works on 2.4Ghz so if you have a wireless router Mickey rat won't work until you turn it off. I can't get this thing to work at all in the same room with wireless, nor any place in line of sight. If I get a wall or two in between the rat and the wifi router it works a little bit but usually stops after a few seconds of use. The only reason this hasnt hit the trash yet is it randomly reacts to radio noise and moves about a foot causing the cats to have momentary interest in it. Basically, its junk.

Five Stars
The kids loved this when the dads let them finally play. So do my dog.

Amusing but then, eeenh.
Very toy like. Solid. Heavy. Bought to amuse cat. Cat was curious but rat is not too lifelike so cat was more concerned than attracted. Remote control works but rat really only goes forward or backward, no way to turn by itself.

Cats didn’t like it
My cats didn’t like it. First, there are NO instructions so you have to figure it out, not hard. You have to turn on the remote button on the mouse. The antenna on the remote has to face the mouse directly or it will not work. You need to play with the directional buttons to get use to moving the mouse. It has 2 features forward and backwards with a curve to turn a different direction. There is no hair on the mouse and it is big 6”. I think the noise it makes is not appealing to the cats. I have a different mouse they love with hair, 3” and much quieter but the charge last for about 10 mins so thought I would try this one with batteries.

Broke within one use
Awful product. I got it for my dog to chase, and it broke after one use. Sent it back.
