Stunning
These are incredible!!! I ordered the first one and was so excited that I didn’t even get a picture of it until it was in my tank. I covered it with boiling water in the kitchen sink and let sit for 30 minutes. Placed in my freshwater established (cycled) 29 gallon tank and it is beautiful!! I haven’t had any water discolouration, but I do have a carbon filter. It sunk no problem for me, I have one end pushed into the gravel. A few pointy edges would need sanding for delicate long finned fish. I don’t even have room for the second one that I ordered the same day I received the first one! The second one is even more beautiful (3 dry pictures). They are each 14 inch at the longest point. I love them! Thank you so much! I want to order another one. Lol!

Excellent driftwood at a great price
I ordered 2 pieces (14 to 18 inches) for my 55 gallon aquarium. Ordering driftwood online can be a bit of a leap of faith, but I received 2 excellent looking, quality pieces of driftwood.Do keep in mind, that the wood WILL release tannins into your tank, and at over a foot long, it's not easy to boil. If you're able, boiling will help speed the release of these tannins, but you'll likely never get them all out, and your tank water will reflect this in it's color. Combat this with frequent water changes, and/or a product like Purigen. Personally, I boiled these pieces repeatedly for 3 days, and was still pulling out significant tannins. Certainly not the fault of the seller, but instead a byproduct of darker aquarium woods.Another thing to remember, this wood will not be pre-sunk. You can speed this process up by boiling, but again depending on the size and shape of the piece you receive, this may be somewhat difficult. Your other options are a good long soak in an old cooler, or to weight it down (like I did one piece in the picture). In time, it will stay sunk. All in all, I got what I ordered, and at an excellent price (local stores often charge twice as much for pieces of similar size). Very pleased with this purchase.

After Soaking and Boiling Does Not Sink
Loved the look of this piece and was excited to get it in my tank. I boiled as directed (had to flip as my pot only fits half at a time) and it didn't sink. I've now had it weighted and fully submerged for 3 months. It still floats. It may never get to go in my tank as planned.

Not as described
This was a tiny piece of wood for being $28. Not worth it. Not at all like the pictures of the advertisement show, not happy at all, not even close to the pic, will not order again.

Interesting large pieces
I've just ordered my third chunk of this size for new tank setups. They are really nice! I also purchased the small and the two medium sizes. The medium size that comes with two is neat looking, but they keep getting the slime, and it's gross and I don't have time to deal with it! The large pieces are striking in my two 75 gallon tanks and I will order more from this seller! They soak and sink well; I'm old and have been keeping fish for thirty years and have 17 year old Silver Dollars, and I thought y'all were nuts when I read about the boiling program. NOPE! Ain't doin' it! This is great wood!
