Work great!
Really drowns out sound and partner snoring. Soft wax and firmly sits in ear. Comfortable while sleeping.

Favorite ear plugs for sleep
I have to wear ear plugs at night. I've tried all kinds of ear plugs and these are the most comfortable for sleeping! With foam earplugs, my ears would always hurt when I woke up in the morning. But that has never happened with these wax ear plugs. They do a great job of actually blocking out the noise and molding to my ear too. I've been wearing them to bed for 9 years now.

I use almost every day
I am pleased with these, I use them to protect my hearing when using power lawn equipment, so much better than the foam kind and my ear holes ( what are they called ?) are small and the foam won't stay in . These are slightly greasy, I guess to help them not stick... they do shrink over time, just keep and add two small together to make one as it gets too little. If you have trouble getting it out of the ear, just press on the under side of the ear a few times and it comes right out. I literally use these almost every day as I also use when I play piano because left ear has developed a real aversion to loud noises and starts up crazy noises but with the ear wax in, I can play with no issues.

More comfortable than foam earplugs. Not quite 100% noise reduction
I found out about these earplugs from a Russian friend. They are made by a German company, but the (brief) instructions come in English, too. I bought these because I sleep with a snorer, and hoped they would help me get better rest. They are better than the traditional foam earplugs because they sit on the outside of your ear canal... so they do not hurt after a few hours like the foam earplugs. They do not block as much noise as the foam earplugs, and feel sticky, but they are a lot more comfortable. To make sure you cover the opening of your ear canal completely, you have to heat them up in your hands for a while so they’ll get malleable enough to form into a flat plug. One ear plug can be divided into two (or four!) easily. And you can use them multiple times. The price cannot be beat. And they arrived in a nice little metal case. Each wax earplug is covered in a cotton ball, for easy handling. If you need complete noise cancellation, these may not be the answer. But if you can live with 80% noise reduction, and desire more comfort than a foam earplug, these might work for you.

Unhappy
I am a light sleeper who has been using ear plugs at night for several years. About 8 years ago I began using Mack's Pillow Soft Silicone Earplugs with great results. However, I decided to try something new with Ohropax after reading the many positive reviews. I followed the instructions to the letter, and I immediately noticed that the earplugs were greasy and left my fingers uncomfortably sticky. The wax plugs were at first hard when I removed them from the cotton and difficult to mold. However, they did soften with a little work. Trying to get the small chunks of cotton off of them was also a pain. Afterward I found myself having to wash my hands to remove the sticky film left behind. The plugs stayed in at first, but one of them fell out during the night. Putting it back in was another sticky adventure. Throughout the night, I had to press the plugs back in several times to keep them in place. I noticed that when they had been over my ear canal for sometime the plugs had become gooey soft, which added to the problem. The next night I went back to the Mack's silicone plugs. I find them much more comfortable and dependable, as I easily get 8 to 10 uses out of a pair. Plus, it's very easy to split the Mack's in half to get double the usage without losing their effectiveness. I really wanted to like the Ohropax ear plugs, but for now I'll consider this loss as stupid tax.

Very effective and don't hurt like the foam earplugs
I live in a VERY noisy area and rarely have a restful sleep without being woken up by traffic noise, leaf blowers, people yelling, etc. I started using foam earplugs but unfortunately they were really irritating and hurt my ears terribly. I figured wax would be a more natural material. These are great! They do take a few nights to get used to but they are soft, malleable, effective, and they don't irritate my ears. After reading all the negative reviews I'll say, the protective cotton is easily removed with some patience, the waxy feeling on my fingers from warming and shaping doesn't bother me and goes away quickly, they effectively block enough noise along with my white noise machine to sleep yet I can still hear enough important things like a fire alarm. (like I said, I live in a VERY noisy area but I'm also a very light sleeper). My only issue in the beginning is they do soften up throughout the night and were difficult to remove in the morning but I quickly figured out by reading the pamphlet that if I gently push up on my earlobe it helps to dislodge them enough that I can grab them and pull them out. The directions say NOT to shape them into cones but I do anyway because they block more noise that way and stay in better. Also, I find if I open my mouth wide while putting them in they work better and stay more secure during the night. I do that with earplugs I use when flying to help regulate ear pressure. I keep them in a plastic case next to my bed and I've been using the same ones now for at least a month without having to replace them. Do they look brand new? No Is there some earwax on them? Yes but it's my earwax so who cares! Side note* My husband doesn't love them because he says he can hear his heartbeat and it freaks him out but I don't find that at all. I can hear myself breathing but I actually find it soothing. I'll definitely be ordering these again when I need more unless I move to the countryside. LOL

100% noise cancellation and expected outcome. Best for travellers, sleepless nights, etc. I use it for years and never been allergic. Keep it clean in a separate boxe while no use.

Recomendo o uso!

It does the job, but it is hard to peel off the cotton cover and some of it will stay there

Gebrauch weg werfen!!!
