Ohropax Wax Ear Plugs, 12 Plug

I've used ohropax products for years and these are the best ear plugs they've developed so far. As a German I am familiar with this family owned company that's been around for a long time. It is known to make quality products. I first used the cylindrical earplugs that are twisted and placed into the ear and they worked well but somehow there was still a little too much noise coming thru on my left ear (maybe the ear canal is shaped different from the right? They did the job well enough for a long time. On a visit to Germany a couple of years ago I found these wax plugs which I guess are a newer design. On my very first use I was amazed how much more noise they eliminated. They are pleasant to wear since they are outside the ear canal and so far have stayed in place all night. I'm glad I found them on Amazon to buy since the ones I bought a couple of years ago are becoming a little worn. Highly recommend them.

I received these a week ago and for the first time in years, I've been sleeping soundly through the night. My busy house is not the most tranquil at any time of the day. Between my husband's snoring, cats playing all night, young children waking up at various times and loud frogs in our pond right outside our bedroom windows, I was a sleep-deprived mess. I had been using Hearos ear plugs and they are great for blocking out sound, but were too big for my ears. They hurt so much the pain kept me awake. I was desperate and spent quite a bit of time researching other options. I'm so glad I came across these earplugs. Ohropax are the most comfortable ear plugs ever. The first night I wore them, my daughter climbed into bed with us because she had a nightmare. I didn't even know until I woke up in the morning and saw her lying next to me. I'd slept soundly through the whole episode!They are easy to use. Simply remove the cotton wrapping, roll them into a ball and press them onto your ear to cover your ear canal; they do not go inside your ear canal (although they go in slightly, but it's not uncomfortable at all.) The next morning your ears have a little bit of a waxy film, but it's not much and it's easily wiped away. They come in a nice tin container, but I'm using another tin box to store the pair I'm currently using to keep the fresh, unused pairs separated from the ones in use. The instructions say you can re-use a pair until they get dirty. I'm not sure how long that will be although after a week of using them on extremely clean ears (I go right to bed after my evening shower), they are still in good shape.I will continue to use these life savers forever!!! As anyone who has been sleep-deprived for extended periods of time knows, once you start getting rest you feel like you have a new life! I have more energy, I'm doing better at work, I'm happier, I'm able to get up earlier to work out so hopefully I can soon add weight loss to the list of benefits too. I love these!

I am pleased with these, I use them to protect my hearing when using power lawn equipment, so much better than the foam kind and my ear holes ( what are they called ?) are small and the foam won't stay in . These are slightly greasy, I guess to help them not stick... they do shrink over time, just keep and add two small together to make one as it gets too little. If you have trouble getting it out of the ear, just press on the under side of the ear a few times and it comes right out. I literally use these almost every day as I also use when I play piano because left ear has developed a real aversion to loud noises and starts up crazy noises but with the ear wax in, I can play with no issues.

The earplugs don't work for me. The plugs fully seal off the ear canal causing two issues. Pressure on the ear canals while removing the plugs. And moisture discomfort in the sealed-off ear canal. Thirdly, the plugs left a sticky residue. I will not use this product again.

These work well to block out general noise. They do not completely cancel noise like a traditional earplug. Sometimes they fall out at night. I’m still looking for that perfect solution to my snoring husband. I’m using these until I do.

I am 80 years old, and remember Ohropax sitting on my mom’s night table in Germany. My mom did not sleep well, and used them all the time. Now I am in the same boat, and use them every night. Unlike synthetic materials, the wax is pressure free and feels comfortable.

Best ear plugs that I have found for comfort, noise cancellation and overall effectiveness. I spend over 100 nights a year on the road year and have tried every major brand of ear plugs. These don’t fall out like the foam plugs or get tangled in my hair like the silicone ear plugs and last twice as long as either of these. You do need to remove the cotton wrapping! I massage the plugs with my fingers to warm the wax and they then conform to my ear for maximum sound-proofing. As my ear canals are small, I divide two plugs into three smaller ones for maximum comfort.
