Brightest Handheld Flashlight
I live in a rural area, and spend a lot of time hiking and walking at night where there are no streetlights whatsoever. On nights without a full moon, it is as close to pitch black as is possible. As a result, I'm really into collecting bright flashlights, as I absolutely need the best I can get when I am out in the field. I have a lot of experience with various high end flashlights. This one is my every night carry now.Simply stated, there isn't another flashlight on the market currently that offers this degree of brightness in a small package. It is easy to carry, isn't too heavy, and is incredibly bright. If you genuinely need more than 65,000 lumens for your turbo mode, I would be curious what you are using your flashlight for. Because this is as bright as I could ever ask for.I have used Imalent's top of the line product that boasts a 200,000 lumen turbo mode. What I can tell you from using flashlights at the top stratosphere of the brightness market, is that there is diminishing returns on brightness. I don't find that 200,000 lumens is all that much brighter to the eye than 65,000 lumens. And when you consider that the 200K flashlight weighs nearly 7 pounds, it is downright and utterly remarkable that a flashlight of this size exists and puts out 65,000 lumens. Now, what you need to know is that turbo mode only lasts for up to 45 seconds total on a charge. After that, you won't have access to it. Where this flashlight really shines (sorry, had to) is it's ability to consistently put out roughly 13,000 lumens of over 40 minutes. That is crazy. 13,000 lumens is incredibly bright to have for that kind of time in such a small package. And being able to put out 5,000 lumens for over an hour is crazy, as well.25,000 lumens is truly crazy bright to have for 3 minutes. Then you consider that this flashlight is small. It's not tiny, but it is small. It is a fraction of the size of the larger Imalent flashlights which put out 6 figure lumens in turbo. I find it completely comfortable to carry for over an hour, and that's not even remotely true for the bigger and brighter flashlights. This flashlight is actually practical, and that's why I love it. I actually look forward to carrying it every night. As for the size, I have roughly average size hands for an American man, and I am not bothered by the size. I don't feel the need to switch hands while using it for 1-2 hours. For reference, I cannot touch my thumb to middle finger while holding it, so it is pretty girthy and robust. But not too much so. It does get hot when you use it on the higher modes, so I wear a light glove while carrying it. Basically the thinnest Arc'Teryx liner glove, and the heat isn't a problem for me. But I woudn't use this without a glove on anything above the lowest modes. 45 seconds on Turbo, and it does get HOT.The fans are a bit loud, but not so loud that it bothers me. And you can use this on 3,000 lumen mode without the fans, and for most applications that's bright enough for consistent use. I'd compare the fan noise to a late 90s/early 2000s computer. People have complained about the button being hard to find. It's not really an issue for me, but they could have raised it a bit to make it easier to find in complete darkness. But how often am I starting this up in complete darkness? Never, really. This also charges crazy fast. About 4 times as fast as my next favorite flashlight in this size category. A flashlight that is less than 1/3rd as bright on turbo, and has none of the capabilities between 3,000 and 25,000 lumens. Granted, it weighs half what this weighs. But I have no issues with the size or weight of this flashlight. It's right within the range of comfortable carry for me. I don't see myself replacing this for my nightly hike for a while. Hopefully Imalent builds upon the impressive work they've done here, but after investing a lot of money into this one, I don't need that to happen too soon. There is a moonlight mode that can be accessed by triple clicking the power button.TL/DR: Incredible output for the size. A truly bright flashlight in every sense, and actually practical for nightly carry for over an hour at a time. There is nothing else on the market that offers this kind of max brightness, and sustained brightness in such a small, easy to carry format.

Unexpectedly great customer service!
So the flashlight itself is a BEAST. It's like carrying the sun in your pocket. Everytime I turn it on, the people I'm with are in awe. Yah it gets hot, but that's expected with something that can light up a small city block. But here's the cool part. My battery went dead after about 6 months. It just wouldn't charge or power the flashlight at all. Actually, that's not the cool part. The cool part is that I emailed these guys and they sent me a new battery. No forms to fill out, no complaining, and no nonsense. They just sent me a new battery and now the light works perfectly and I can once again cut through the shadows with a giant friggen beam of luminosity.

Little beast of a flashlight
The media could not be loaded. First I would like to say that this is the most impressive flashlight I’ve seen in a long time. The size to output ratio is unlike anything I’ve seen before weighing in only 1.5 pounds in outputting 65,000 lm! Physically this light is just a bit bigger than a soda can with exception for the head piece which holds the reflector, this still allows the light to be easily put in a pocket which is a huge plus. The finish of this light feels great with black anodization over a full aluminum body and a rugged plastic button with two LEDs on each side showing the status of the battery pack. The battery pack consists of 4 21700 high drain cells to feed the enormous draw this light demands when at full power. There are three cooling fans around the head of the light which enables this light to run on turbo 65,000 lm mode for 40 seconds and then continuing to run for another 40 minutes at 13,000 lm. This light can run for 4 hours on its lowest output setting which is 1500 lm, lights this size benefit from these low output modes allowing you to use it for more every day tasks rather than just putting it on turbo to show off. Overall if you are looking for a good light to use outside when you need consistent brightness over a long period, massive brightness for a short time or anything in between all in a portable and manageable size this is the flashlight for you. I am impressed with the ms12 mini as a whole and can’t wait to see what Imalent comes out with next!

One of the brightest flashlights on the market.
I received a massive discount on this item and purchased it for less than $290.00. Its well worth the price. The beam is very floody and on turbo its super bright. The built in fans are excellent as they help cool this soda can type flashlight. The total lumens at turbo is about 60,000 which is more than the original Imalent MS12. I have a large collection of flashlights including the MS18. The build quality is excellent, with attention to detail. The only negative is that I wish they made this like the fenix LR50R, so you can replace the battery pack with 21700 batteries if the battery pack dies. This flashlight was well worth the purchase.

Excellent customer service.
Had an issue with the flashlight. I contacted Imalent. They got me in contact with Juky who went above and beyond to help me. They fixed it and sent it back promptly. Haven’t had a chance to really use the flashlight too much yet but wanted to make sure I left a review about the great customer service. Will update later.

Amplio espectro
