YOUMAKER New iPad 9.7 Case 2018/2017, Heavy Duty Kickstand with Built-in Screen Protector Full-body Shockproof Protective Case Cover for Apple iPad 9.7 inch 2017/2018 5th/6th Gen (Black/Black)

I recently got the 9.7 inch 2018 iPad on the Christmas sale price this week. I wanted a case that came with a built in screen protector, as I don't want to deal with lining up/applying a screen protector and making sure there are no bubbles or fingerprints, then making sure case fits around it too. OtterBox doesn't have one for sale, so I chose this Youmaker case.The price is much less than what you would pay for OtterBox, and the case quality seems very similar to the OtterBox I have on my iPad mini. The case top/screen protector had plastic wrap on both sides that you peel off, so no scratches or finger prints on screen before you put iPad inside. Case fits very tight around iPad, which is what you should want. I don't know how easy it will be to get the case apart, but hopefully I don't need to do that too often. Screen protector very close to screen, clear, and as flat as it can be for being built in to case. I have had no problems so far using my iPad with this case. If you have never used a case with built in screen protector, maybe you will see a slight difference. I have OtterBox with built in screen protector on my mini and iPod, and notice no difference except in my wallet. The kick stand on back seems sturdy, but you do need to apply some pressure to get the stand to lock flat. I have an extra original OtterBox mini hard top cover with stand that this iPad with case will fit on horizontally, so I will probably use that when at home to save wearing out the kick stand.I can't rate the durability of the case yet, as I'm not going to try and scratch the screen protector or drop my iPad on purpose. I like the look and feel of this case, and so far believe it is a good value.

It was a little difficult to get the cover on, but hey, you only have to do it once. It looks great and I love the fact that there is a built in screen cover which is totally invisible and you don't have to worry about bubbles in the cover. I would say the instructions are incorrect. When putting on the frame (the top part of the case) it is much easier to put the bottom of the iPad in first, the instructions show putting the top part of the iPad in first. When putting on the case (the bottom part) put the bottom of the iPad in first, which is what the instructions show.Just getting around to updating this. The day after I received this I was getting out of my car during a torrential downpour. My iPad flipped out of my bag and slid under the car, face side up, in a puddle of water. Even though there was water inside the case it was minimal and the case protected my iPad from breaking and from the water getting inside the iPad. I dried everything off and the iPad worked immediately. I did get several scratches on my new case, but better that than ruining my new iPad!

Update 08-07-2018Case still holds up well. I'm actually ordering a few more!If you're looking for a super light and thin case, this isn't for you. It feels slightly less bulky than an OtterBox, but not much. This is a case for people who want to be able to hand their iPad to their 3 year old without being stressed about it being broken. The case fits perfectly and seems to protect the iPad very well. The kick stand works great as well. As a bonus, the case looks great and feels nice in the hand. I bought this instead of an OtterBox... and was a bit nervous because of the price difference. Honestly, this case is a bargain. I'll be buying more cases from Youmaker in the future.

This case is perfect for my new iPad! I love the sleek look, and the colors match perfectly to the photo on the description. It matches my phone case too, which is nice! I think I love most that it has a screen protector built in, and the edges have a bit of a gripping to them, to prevent from dropping! The kickstand is awesome; I can't really buy a new macbook right now, so being able to prop up my iPad and use a wireless keyboard is just as easy! Arrived on time and included a QR code with a link to the instruction video, as well as including a picture guide on how to prep and assemble the case!

I really like this case. First, the color is beautiful. The whole thing is really pretty! I love the kickstand, but it is plastic so you have to be gentle with it when putting it up and down. I saw some reviews before I made the purchase that said the reviewer's stand had broken. When I first used the case I was careful not to yank on the stand roughly. It is sturdy, but "catches" as you put it up and down so that the stand remains firmly in place when in use. But I can see how it could get broken just because it is made of plastic. The case is tough and it protects really well, which is exactly what I was looking for. It fits very snugly, but perfectly if you're using it on the correct model ipad. It comes with instructions and it does take a little work to get it on because it needs to fit snugly to work properly, but it really isn't that difficult to put on. It does make the ipad feel heavier, but to me it was worth that trade off for the extra protection, and really, the extra weight hasn't bothered me. It feels good and secure in my hands and is easy to hold. The sides are soft. I like that this case includes screen protection. The only thing is, the soft plastic surface is easily scratched. I noticed a few big ones on mine (probably from being in my bag). Just a word of caution that you should be careful not to put it next to things that are abrasive and can scratch the surface. I don't notice the scratches when the ipad is on and I'm using it, just when the screen is off and black. All in all I'm pretty happy with my purchase and I feel like my ipad is protected.

I purchased this case in an effort to preserve my sons iPad. It has sustained a bend & a slightly cracked screen, and I thought what better way to prolong the little integrity of the last iPad I’ll pay for, than by purchasing this case. I have a screen protector on the device itself for extra measures.This case is wonderful! The protection is remarkable, easy and comfortable to hold, it has a built in screen protector, silicone around the edges, credible material (uncertain if it’s shock proof), nice kick stand, etc. I love it!Well worth the money!

Die Hülle super praktisch. Ich empfinde mein iPad top geschützt. Ohne das die Hülle stark aufträgt.Hatte oft die original Hüllen ( bei meinen Vorgängern) gehabt. Die waren nicht ansatzweise so praktisch.

Very good highly recommended .. Very solid & good all-round design
