It is very comfortable gives better support for my firearm. Others made it feel like it might come off or twist around, not this one. Distibutes the weight, I forget it's there!

I work in a place where I am allowed to carry but absolutely have to keep it a secret. I thought I’d try ankle carry and like it a lot. A few issues: first, it’s not really a 10hr day kind of carry holster. Get one with sheep skin backing if you want all day carry with comfort. Second, the gun is secure and the Velcro is really good. No slipping. Third, I’m looking at carrying a pocket pistol instead of a compact. I think the comfort issue is because of the thumb safety and take down lever digging into my ankle. Something like the lcp has a clean look to it and less pointy parts to dig in. My current ppk is ok for a few hours but think I’ll get the pocket pistol. Finally, it’s great for the price and the Velcro is secure I don’t worry about it coming out or coming loose.

Lightweight.

First, my carry is a small pocket gun, not the heavier Glock or 911. That said, when strapped to the leg just above the ankle, the butt sticks out and is plain to see even with loose trousers. The "Velcro" (surely not) strap is so poor that a quick step causes the holster and a light weight pistol to fall to the ground.

The strap/holster is great quality and the retention devices are good and easy to use. However, this must've been designed by a lefty or someone who doesn't actually shoot and train with drawing a spare mag or with any speed. For a right handed draw the magazine pouch is behind/ under the pistol grip. This would get in the way for any magazine that is not for a micro sized gun. I am running it with no spare mag and will keep it, since it was cheap, but it's disdappointing that I ordered a holster with a spare mag pouch that I functionally can't use. It's clearly how the outter elastic holster is sewed onto the neoprine strap, so this could have been sewed on the opposite way. I suggest changing this ambidextrous product to a dedicated draw hand and I would change my review to 5*.

this holster works well for carrying my taurus 856 ultra lite and speed loader strip. very comfortable to wear. it does not move around on my leg and holds the pistol very securely. one of the best features is the padding below the barrel of the pistol that keeps the barrel from rubbing your ankle. very nice touch. i highly recommend this holster.

I wear it with shorts, sweats, jeans, concealed or open depending on clothing. When open carrying with this holster, I carry a compact 9 and in the few months I’ve had it, I’ve only had one person notice it was there. I have had several people ask what happened to my ankle, as they think it’s an ankle brace.Only thing I would like more about it is if it was a little more rigid. With a heavier carry, you feel the weight of it pulling down on the brace.Other than that, very happy with it for the price
