InateckUSB 3.2 Gen 2 Speed, USB C Hub with 8 Ports, HB2023

Functions very well on my ethernet network and my USB 3.2 Devices. Great Product

This hub has a very good complement of ports for my needs, and the specs are very good. Speed to external SSDs was pretty close to the 5GBps specified.But my most important requirement was to be able to connect a new iPad with USB-C connector to the USB-C data port on this hub. For whatever reason, it wouldn't supply enough current to charge the iPad and transfer data. The iPad would keep beeping on and off as it thought it was getting enough current and then didn't. And it never allowed any data transfer. With a USB-A to USB-C adapter, I was able to use one of the USB-A ports for this purpose, but I need those for other devices, so this hub unfortunately won't do everything that I need. I didn't test the ethernet or HDMI ports, because I wasn't going to keep it, anyway. This iPad works fine connected directly to the USB-C port on my Mac (but then the Mac isn't being charged), and the SSDs worked fine on the USB-C port on this hub, so only my required configuration didn't work.Sadly, I returned it for a refund.Edit 2022-03-26:After returning this hub and looking for other products that would do what I need, I found that many of the various USB-C products being sold are not reversible! They operate as advertised when connected one way, but when you flip the USB-C male connector over, they don't work. Some will pass only power, while others will run at USB 2.0 speed. What's going on here??? If the USB-C data port on this hub functions like that, then it might do what I need. If the seller could provide more detail, I might try to buy it again. Please let us know!

Not sure what happened but it just stopped working exactly three months after purchase. Believe it or not, same day my other smaller Inateck hub stopped working (going to leave review now). I don't think it's a power surge because my Macbook uses a power surge adapter, plugged into yet another power surge box.I don't understand it but there you go.

Unit works great except an occasional blip that drops the Ethernet and hdmi. Happens about once a month. It recovers but can be annoying.

Tried several hubs on my 2021 iPad Pro which I needed to connect a USB C audio interface (Audient iD14) and USB 3 Midi keyboard and while the build quality on this one seemed solid, I experienced intermittent signal/power drop outs that required me to reconnect my devices. I tried various configurations and could not get this hub to work reliably. Also, video output on HDMI (supposedly 4K/30Hz) looked poor on my LG OLED C1. The reliability and 4K/60HZ output on the Dockteck hub I eventually went with was significantly better.

I used this hub with my new Asus Zenbook. However, the RJ45 jack is dead. I can plug the ethernet cable into my (other) USB 3.0 hub and the internet works, I can plug the RJ45 dongle into either a C or an A type USB port and it works, but plugging the RJ45 into this adapter does not work. So I returned it. I need a hub that will free up a jack on my Laptop, and the ethernet cable takes a jack by itself, so I was going to use this hub to 1) power the PC (the PC power cord connects to this hub and the hub connects to the PC for power, and that part worked. The USB ports on the hub work find, but the Ethernet connector (RJ45 jack) does not work.

I wish it had DisplayPort and the refresh rate of the HDMI input is rather low at 30hz, although I haven't compared it to other brands. The price seems to be on point.

I had to unplug the hub, bring the computer up, then plug hub in. Useless. Gave it three stars so they might actually post the review.

Zuerst wichtig lasst euch nicht täuschen, wenn ihr nur das Bild anseht: es sind nur 2 USB A Daten Anschlüsse. Die anderen beiden sind ausschließlich für Maus/ Tastatur, was ich persönlich als sinnlos empfinde, da hätte ich lieber weitere USB A Ports gehabt. Das Laden über den Hub klappt gut. Es ist nir zu beachten, das nicht 100% des Ladestrom im Laptop ankommen, vergesst das nicht, da kann es ein stärkeres Netzteil benötigen.Was Datenübertragungsrate ist super und bin zufrieden aber der HDMI Port ist mangelhaft. Ich betreibe ein VGA Bildschirm über Adapter und habe jedes mal was anderes. Es funktioniert eine weile dann ist der Bildschirm auf einmal dunkel, mal erkennt es das ganze als 3 Bildschirme, mal irgendwas anderes.Ansonsten ausser das ich einen zweiten Adapter mit dedizierten VGA Anschluss brauche bin ich aber zufrieden. Es gibt aber Luft nach oben.

Joli design mais prix élevé. Le port USB-C pour le transfert de données est un vrai plus ! Il n'aura pas tenu longtemps, heureusement que c'est garantie... Mais je ne referai pas cet investissement.

Lástima que no haya descubierto estos artilugios antes, iba siempre cargado de cables y adaptadores para conectar el portátil, y aun así me las veía y me las deseaba, siempre había algo que no podía conectar porque me quedaba sin puertos. Ahora con este ... maravilloso aparatejo lo tengo todo concentrado un 50 cm2, y, lo mejor, sobrado de puertos de todo tipo, en resumen, MARAVILLOSO y 100% recomendable (lo único que no tienen son puertos para tarjetas SD, SDXC, ..., pero claro, yo compré este modelo a propósito, porque tengo adaptadores a USB para este tipo de tarjetas y no necesitaba ese tipo de puertos). Estás tardando, si pillas una buena oferta de Amazon, o aunque no la pilles, cómpralo sin dudarlo.

In questo periodo sto provando molti hub USB esterni, dal 5 in 1 fino ad arrivare al piu' completo 12 in 1, alla fine sono arrivato alla mia conclusione, ovvero quella dove non importa la quantità di ingressi o uscite ma la qualità e la stabilità di essa.Il design è il punto che mi ha colpito di piu' poiché si differenza da tutte le classiche "hub" semplici e dal design classico.Ma prima di passare alla recensione completa, parliamo del contenuto in confezione ed infine le caratteristiche tecniche di questo piccolo ma potente hub USB.Contenuto in confezione:- HUB USB 8 in 1- ManualisticaCaratteristiche tecniche:- USB C - PC 3.2 Gen 2- 2X USB A 2.0- 2X USB A 3.1- 1X USB PD 100W- 1X USB C 3.2- 1X HDMI 4K 30Hz- 1X RJ45 1000MbpsDimensioni: 12.55 x 5.31 x 1.6 cmPeso: 104 grammiLunghezza cavo USB C: Fisso - 25CMMa come si è comportato questo HUB USB esterno?Iniziamo con il 10 e lode per il design, non mi era mai capitato di provare un hub usb completo ed allo stesso tempo con una buona cura al design, questo hub è costruito con materiali di buona qualità, parliamo di una struttura completamente realizzata in metallo ed infine una copertura in vetro temperato lucido.Altra lode per la cura e l'assemblaggio, nessun gioco e molta solidità!Il tutto retto dal suo peso, parliamo di 104 grammi, un peso irrisorio e ben bilanciato, un peso ideale rapportato alla sua grandezza.Ho avuto modo di testare questo hub per diversi giorni su ambienti lavorativi, apprezzo sempre l'utilità di questi dispositivi poiché al giorno d'oggi si hanno in mano computer sempre piu' leggeri, compatti e di conseguenza con meno ingressi, nel mio periodo di utilizzo non ho trovato alcun problema!Ho eseguito operazioni di copia su supporti USB A 3.0 ed infine supporti USB C 3.2, le velocità sono nella norma e rispecchiano gli standard indicati, ho raggiunto velocità di circa 150/300Mbps sia in lettura che scrittura, mentre usando supporti SSD in USB C 3.2 ho sfiorato velocità di 500/700Mbps in lettura.Anche sotto stressanti copie non ho riscontrato alcun problema di surriscaldamento, l'hub USB risulta sempre tiepido, la sua temperatura d'esercizio nel suo punto piu' caldo arriva a 34.5 gradi.Altro aspetto interessante la presenza di ben 2 USB C, questo poiché solitamente se ne trova sempre una, ovvero la porta USB C dedicata sia alla ricarica che alla lettura di supporti USB C, mentre qua ne abbiamo ben due, questo hub da la possibilità di caricare il laptop ed infine di usare un ulteriore porta USB C per collegarci un supporto USB o qualunque altro devices.Troviamo infine HDMI con risoluzione massima 4K e refresh rate di 60HZ e un ingresso LAN RJ45 con supporto fino a bande da 1Gb/s, anche questi due comparti si sono comportati molto bene, nessun problema di visualizzazione su monitor esterno 2K ed infine speedtest sotto banda 1Gb/s di 940Mbps in download e di 510Mbps in upload.Questo hub USB mi ha stupito molto, nonostante abbia una dotazione classica di 8 in 1, non ha nessuna mancanza importante ed infine, oltre la qualità costruttiva di alto livello, si differenzia dalle altre grazie alla presenza di una seconda USB C!Arrivando alle mie conclusioni, cosa ne penso?Un prodotto da comprare ad occhi chiusi, un hub USB completo, con un design minimale ed una qualità costruttiva e di materiali da dieci e lode!Se siete alla ricerca di un hub USB esterno a prova di qualità allora questo fa per voi, ne consiglio assolutamente l'acquisto!

Es un aparato excepciona respecto a la conectividad, pero para llevarlo en el bolso lo veo algo grande por eso le he dado cuatro estrellas, En las fotos lo veia algo mas pequeño,, Burro grande ande o no ande,,,
