Raphael SoftAqua Squirrel Watercolor Mini Brush, Mop, 4, Natural

The title says it all. It's a cute stubby brush that holds lots of paint. I carry it with me everywhere.

J'aime bien sa taille pour les pochades sur le motif, mais il ne rentre pas dans mes palettes pour 12 godets (2 rangées de 6 godets)Je voulais essayer un poil synthétique, et il a plus d'élasticité et de tenue qu'un petit gris, mais la pointe est moins fine, il faudra changer de pinceau pour peindre les détails.

As others have commented - this brush is small. 12.5cm tip-to-tip, and around 8mm at the base of the bristles. I have small hands (size small rubber gloves are usually a bit big for me) - and to me, it feels like the handle needs an extra inch plus a bit of extra width (the balance of it feels a bit wrong). That said - the actual 'brush' part of the brush is lovely - excellent value for this price.

Bought several of these brushes in 3 sizes recently, and love them all, as they hold a ton of water/paint, release it nicely onto the paper, and hold a lovely point. However I would like to point out, for those considering buying the "Mini" sizes, that the brush-size numbers apparently do NOT correspond to the numbers of the full-length brushes. If you look at my photo you will see that the Size 4 Mini (the short one) is not the girth of the Size 4 regular brush. It is closer in girth (in the hairs) to the Size 0. Fits great in my little travel palette, but I got it because I needed a short-handled fat wash-mop for that palette-box. I may just cut off the handle of one of the full-size ones!

This was buyer error. The brush works great, but it’s mini. I didn’t read enough to see that detail. It’s about half the size of a pencil to give you an idea. I’m keeping it, and will buy a “longer” one next time I want to add to my brush collection.Side note, I’m new to watercolor so I can’t speak to quality or being the best. As a newbie I love it.
