ACTIVA Pizza Box, BBQ Pizza Oven with Temperature Display for Charcoal and Gas Barbecues, Pizza Oven with Pizza Stone

This item arrived damaged, varies dints and scratches all round the item and the weld's down one full side have popped open. I was not aware this would be coming from Germany and I would also be left with an additional £78 custom's bill to pay. The chimney flange was bent but we managed to straighten it to enable us to set it up for use. I am going to have the welding dealt with on the product, pure and simply because I can not really afford to pay another customs bill to have this returned for either a refund or a replacement. Very disappointed considering what I have paid for this to start with

Der Ofen selbst ist sehr schön und gut gearbeitet. Leider ist die Wärmeleistung ziemlich bescheiden. Wenn man die Tür geschlossen hält geht er auf 230-250°C, wenn man ab un zu eine Pizza reinstellt oder rausholt bleiben gerade mal gut 200°C. Dem entsprechend dauert das Backen lange und die Pizza schmeckt wie aus dem Backofen in der Küche.Baurtbedingt hat der Ofen zudem eine starke Unterhitze. Also eine dicke Steinplatte unterlegen, sonst backt es nicht ausgeglichen.Wir haben die Ofen nachträglich isoliert, das ist aber einige Bastelei. Jetzt schafft der Ofen ca. 350°C und die Pizza schmeckt fast so gut wie die aus der Pizzeria :-)

Cooks lovely pizza, fast delivery only problem is rust has started to show on the bottom and on some bolts

I’m sure it will be ok once we get the hang of it, but because the instruction manual is in German we are having to guess what to do!
