Very effective for chicken protection
I bought the 50 x 50' net to fully enclose a portion of my yard to protect my chickens from aerial predators while they free range. It was a frustrating installation experience (due to a few avoidable mistakes) but I'm happy with the results and impressed by the strength of the material. My advice for others is to never lay the net down on top of any twigs/sticks/leaves when you're unraveling. Instead, find a corner and slowly anchor it one section at a time and unravel either in your hands or on a clean surface like a tarp. A second person is essential. I made the blunder of putting this down beneath a redwood tree. The material is so fine that it acts like Velcro for all the sticks and debris which then pin the netting at various points and make unraveling very tedious. But the material is extremely strong - when I was disentangling I could pull hard enough to snap sticks but the netting would survive. It also does not knot on its own - the smooth material pulls free if you give it a tug provided there is nothing in the way. I'm very happy with the results!

So far so good
Well with any netting it was quite a task putting it up to cover our chickens yard. I caught myself, my husbands hat numerous times, and 3 chickens. Yes I’m sure it was a site to see. It’s up and so far so good. We have a 10 foot center pole with 7 foot fencing. So far it has kept the lil escape artists who have no regard to clipped wing in. The true test will be the hawk who attacked a week ago. He was flying overhead but I think at the very least he knows not to mess with the net. The even bigger test…..winter…..snow….

Complete waste of money
Complete waste of 65$ gets tangled super bad and gets stuck on every little thing. Even dirt clods get stuck in this. Not worth the pain. Huge regret buying this and I'm past the return window. It's taken me hours to try to untangle it.

Leave it tied and lay it out, before untying it
It seems well made and stretches well. It would have been very helpful if the vendor marked the corners with something “extra” and in a bright color. Before untying and unrolling, lay it out as close as you can to the frame you will install it on. We put brightly colored zip ties on the corners, to help out. There are 2 different sides to the webbing. One side is smooth at the end (no ties) & one side has the fabric tied off at every mesh square. Once we figured this out, we were finally able to get the 50’ side sorted out. We had to rotate & mess with this for about 1 hour to get the corners figured out & which side was the 50’. Once we figured out that one side is smooth & one side has all the fabric tied off, that made things go really quick! I hope this tip helps some other people save time, frustration & their marriage 😂
