Fantastic prewash! Smells great, cleans well, affordable (because of dilution). I also use Bilt Hamber Touchless they both perform equally well. It has a higher pH but still seems safe on coatings based on my research if not used frequently. You can't go wrong with this product, or any others from Koch Chemie! The package did have a slight leak, but I wish the shipping agency had put some tape around the cap to seal it better.

The 'go-to' pre-wash for my shop. Apply thick with a quality foam cannon and let it sit, working its magic. Not only does it help to remove dirt, but every client comments on the amazing smell of my shop - thanks to this product. This stuff is a win / win / win / win. Price, quality, scent and all around awesomeness.

Cleaning power is SUPERB. Foamed wife’s Acura and did regular wash and nothing more aggressive. All the bug guys and bird poop is gone. Super slick when contact washing by hand. When you need a more aggressive cleaner for bug and grime and salt removal this stuff is GREAT. Smells great like sandalwood too. I will be buying again 100%.

This stuff works well. I only use it about once every few months since it has a bit higher ph level but this stuff works great and I highly recommend it. Also smells incredible. You won’t be disappointed

I love this shampoo. I dilute it at 1:10 and get thick foam that collects all the dirt.

I’m a big fan of Koch Chemie products and Active Foam is not widely talked about in the car detailing world so I decided to check it out. It’s basically a combination of their GSF (gentle snow foam) and GS (green star APC). I can’t tell exactly how much GS is in it but from what I can tell it’s something like 10-30ml per liter used in a 1 liter foam cannon but because this is concentrated, my guess would be 25% GS?I tried this soap at a 10:1 mixture in my foam cannon and while it did produce plenty of suds it did almost nothing to knock down a thin layer of road film on the lower panels. I finally tried it at 4:1 and it did loosen up most of the road film but it still needed help from the pressure washer to help knock everything down. At that rate I’m better off doing a citrus pre-soak and foaming with a ph neutral soap but for now I’ll just keep using AF unless the vehicle is heavily soiled. Even at 4:1 I calculated that I would still get around 30 washes so this 5L container should last me up to a year? At 4:1 the foam was super thick and clings to the panel nicely so I really liked that. Just know that it can weaken your protection if you use waxes, but I top mine off every few washes so that’s not a problem for me.One thing I didn’t like about it is the scent. I normally prefer scented car care products but this soap smells like Obsession for Men which I never cared for. It’s a sandalwood spicy scent which will leave your garage smelling like cologne which I don’t typically associate with waxes and soaps. I much prefer the cherry scent of the regular GSF. I haven’t tried AF in a contact wash or tested the lubrication since I use other soaps for that. Overall I like it but was expecting it to be stronger at the 10:1 ratio.

It has really good cleaning ability, good dilution, thin viscosity so it’s easy to mix with water, and it smells great! Everybody comments on how good it smells. So the user experience is fantastic and this will appeal to professionals and weekend enthusiasts the same. Really a great value when purchasing the 5L. This is my favorite hands down and I’ve tried a lot. Can’t go wrong with any soap from KC, they’re all great!

I do like this stuff very well, but it honestly is a bit high price wise. I have been using this for some time now to foam up and spray off our cars. It cleans very well and dirt always comes off very cleanly. I guess I am lazy, but I despise having to scrub the entire car with a rag or whatever to get it clean, and besides that if your scrubbing the paint with dirt even with the water it scratches up the paint. I have noticed it seems to stay cleaner a little longer with using this as the rain seems to keep it rinsed off longer/cleaner if that makes any sense to any of you. I foam it up and then pressure wash it all off and all gets very clean. You do use less of this ratio wise of this product which warrants the cost a little more. The sandlewood smell is awesome too. I do highly recommend this!
