Doesn’t always keep suction
My husband is using this for a scar tissue issue on top of his hand. Overall, it has worked well, but lately it hasn’t been keeping the suction as well with the one cup he uses. This product was recommended by his Occupational Therapist and they swear by it!

Broke after mild use
I don’t use it frequently, but it worked well when it did. I was using it today her to pop and now it doesn’t work. It’s past the return window, which is the issue you get when you buy on Amazon unfortunately. So, don’t get stuck with a broken item like me.

Covered in oil
I ordered 2 of these scar pumps after returning a previous one that malfunctioned and lacked suction ability. Both of the replacement items received were covered in an oily film, again causing them to lose the suction ability. I tried to clean them to get rid of the oil, but was unable to. At this point, I have gone through multiple of these products which have been nonfunctional.

This is used by physical therapists for scars. I don't like the construction.
I did not like the construction. Its made of cheap plastic and when I used it I felt this would break easily. The cups are very small and its made in China. Its speculative on my part I'm assuming that the manufacturing cost is less than a few dollars and the price of $30.34 was outrageous. Its is my fault to assume it would be better constructed. However this is the exact model they use at the physical therapy department for fingers that have small scars. Nevertheless for my money I would like something better constructed.

It sucks that it didn't suck!
I wish I had listened to the many reviews that said that this doesn't work. I bought it because of the "free returns" option but it was still a waste of my time, and resources. My physical therapist uses the Norco brand and told me it's the only device that works reliably, unfortunately it's not currently sold on Amazon. I recommend you seek the Norco model out if you want a product that works.

Scar pump review
I think it may have helped a little but probably have done more if it had been recommended earlier in my knee replavement recovery.
