Noticeably Stronger, Smoother Hair After Just a Few UsesI’ve been using the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Treatment for a few weeks now, and the difference in my hair is real. I have dry and somewhat brittle hair and this product made it feel noticeably smoother, softer, and more manageable especially at the ends.The texture is thick and creamy, and it spreads well through damp hair. I leave it on for 5–10 minutes before rinsing, and even after the first use, I could feel less breakage when brushing.It has a pleasant salon-like scent, not overpowering. One of the biggest pros is that it doesn’t weigh hair down or leave it greasy, even for finer hair types like mine. It’s definitely worth the investment as a treatment.

I have purchased many different type of hair products and most don't really live up to the hype. This is one product that absolutely does! Here's how I use it. I know it's a "pre-shampoo" treatment, but I find it works best after shampooing and before conditioning. Since this product is meant to penetrate the hair, it makes sense to shampoo first to remove any build up from the hair, thus allowing this product to penetrate easily. I have fine hair and my ends were dry. Now, my hair is not heavily damaged. The only damage I have is from the blow dryer (long story for another media). I use heat protection and a little bit of hair oil before I blow dry. The blow dry went much faster than anticipated, and the hair was left smooth and shiny. I was like "Holy C#$p!". It really does work. If you have a lot of damage, give it sometime to notice the difference.

Living in the country not the city, which means well water and no water softener. Leave have brass and dull and frizzy. I used the complete line starting with this one, when working this regimen start with ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE INTENSIVE TREATMENT (leave in hair for 5 mins) then wash hair wit the ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE SHAMPOO next use the ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE CONDITIONER. THATS IT, THATS ALL, NOTHING NEEDED IN HAIR AFTER THAT. The first time I used this I couldn’t believe I was looking in the mirror at my hair. My hair looked shinier than when I come out of the salon. It’s CRAZY INCREDIBLE, the shininess was outstanding and I never thought I would never see my hair shine like it did when growing up in the city, If they gave all girls with dull hair a sample of this regimen their sales would sky rocket. It’s for real pricy, but you don’t need to use this daily, use even once a week or once every 2 weeks, you will be astounded at the very noticeable results on your very first try. I know I sound like I’m trying to sell this stuff, which I’m not I just feel obligated to spread the knowledge to all woman but especially us girls that live in the country and who are always on the hunt trying tons of different products, just to look in the mirror once again see shiny hair, and feel damn good at both the looks and the feel of healthy shiny and envious hair. As a hair treatment this works wonders. Leaves my hair shinier, fuller, stronger, and overall looking and feeling a lot healthier.The reason I give this four stars instead of five is simply the price. It’s not Amazon’s fault. Redken charges $30 flat for this and all the rest of their Acidic Bonding Concentrate line, which is more than they charge for any of their other hair care product lines, and way more than any other hair care company - with few exceptions - charges for their hair care products. Not to mention the bottle only contains 5 ounces. It’s small enough to conceal in the palm of my hand. I splurged this one time because I had a gift card and I really like the product, but to my way of thinking it’s overpriced and they don’t give you enough for the price at all.

My hair issue was serious heat styling damage to the point of insane amount of frizziness/static that it could not hold moisture from any deep hydrating mask/leave ins/oils, etc. So I came across bonding concentrates and ended up selecting this brand.Use this once a week after you shampoo so there is no buildup preventing it from working. So when i first used this, it made my hair really crispy like straw which concerned me even after deep mask. But I immediately noticed a big difference in less frizz and throughout the week, my hair was absorbing moisture now (using Shea Moisture manuka honey mask) and it became soft.Second time using this concentrate, my hair never went crispy again and is now soft. I'm not a science person, but I was theorizing because my hair was originally so damaged from years of daily heat styling the bonding concentrate had to do alot of work for the first round.Also Redken feedbacked in one of the questions that the bonding products do not come with a seal. Mine did not have a seal btw.

Although i dont particularly have damaged hair, i do have dry hair so i decided to try this product. I did find that it nourished my hair to some avail, but i also found that after a few uses of this product on my ends, it lightened up the natural color of my hair quite a few shades. It also made my hair look shiny, almost fake which i dont exactly know how to feel about. Im not too sure how this product would work on actual "damaged" hair, but i personaly dont think ill be repurchasing this :(

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this as my olaplex no.3 was getting low. I’ve been using olaplex no. 3 for almost a year. I saw a YouTuber talk about this one so I ordered it and after the first use I am really excited to keep using it. It smells amazing. It left my hair so shiny and smooth. I’m hoping it continues to improve my heat styled hair as I keep using it. I haven’t been able to grow my hair past this length ever so maybe this will help my hair stay stronger and need less frequent trims. I posted a video of my hair after the first use. I may be back in a few months with an update.
