in-LINE Mini ANL Fuse Holder 2/4GA-2/4GA with Fuse Distribution Block Stereo/Audio/CAR

The Manufacture just does not do this justice .. I noticed a couple reviews saying the needed a long and short set screw . but in the description it says there is two. Maybe they listened since that review .. but anyway. When I first opened it .. I was like how is a 2 gauge wire going to fit in there .. loosen the set screw and the center comes out. Giving you 2 AWG wire room, the center piece out is shown in the picture and on the other photo. Shown with it in for 4 gauge wire. I'm sure you could use this with smaller diameter wire .. say a 6awg , but specs say 2 and 4. Could be a little loose for smaller wire sizes . And beyond that the diameter of the fuse box is nice .. not much bigger than the 2awg cable .. no big bulky fuse box like some I've seen. It also shipped with a 50amp fuse installed .. I ordered a 5 pack of mini anl 200 amp fuses to use in my application. ( from isolator to battery terminal ) I'm really impressed by the quality of this product.. will be buying more for future products

I used this mini fuse holder on a 6 awg wire coming from the house battery in my RV. I had tight quarters to work in, so this small mini fuse holder was just right. I used a 60 amp fuse. The unit is made to accept different sizes of wire, by using either an insert for smaller wires, or no insert for larger wires. And it comes with two different lengths of screws depending on the size of the wire. The reviewer who could not get the unit closed probably used the longer screws, where the short ones would be the ones to use. I think I might end up using the short screws with my 6 awg wires. Can't tell for sure yet as I haven't finished installing it. The unit is very solid and well made, and about as small as possible. I am not going to mount it no anything, just leavi it in-line with the wire. I will probably wrap the ends of the unit and on to the wire with electrical tape to make it bullet proof.

Used these for 6x6x4 project box for a 50A 220V circuit. Didn’t want a breaker panel but wanted some protection. These came with 60A fuses. Used on both legs and neutral. Yes. I know these are for DC. Well built. Compact. Sturdy. Even with the reducer it fit very snug on 6awg copper SOOW wire. Used 6awg on both sides into a Morris splicer block for 2-14awg wire with an AC clamp ammeter.

Very nicely designed and high quality manufacture. However, with 2 gauge cable, the hex head set screws protrude too far to put the clear plastic cover back on. Had to grind them down to fit.

Great little fuse block, would definitely recommend for tight applications. Would be nice if it had mounting tabs otherwise it's perfect for what I needed.

The picture doesn't really do this fuse holder justice. It's very well made; a sturdy and quality product. The size is great for those with limited space and with the mounting hole located directly under the fuse, it will provide for a very clean installation. The cover slides off and on and seats snugly. However, it seems a bit fragile to me, so take care removing it. Overall it's a great product!

Judging solely on looking at these fuses, they seem to be well made and I don’t see any reason they won’t do the job their intended for! But if I have any issues in the future when I get around to using these. I will update my review then. I don’t see any reason for concern at this point though!
