Women's Sonja Mule

They have excellent high arch support, comfortable fit from first wear and looks great worn with casual or office attire.

I purchased these clogs to become my go-to shoes when boots were too much and sneakers were too sloppy. These fit the bill perfectly! Great for errands, the office, and who knows what else (I’ve only had these a week)... Nice with skirts, jeans and skinny pants. I got these and the black oiled. Easy to walk in, great support. A little tight around the top at first, but that loosens up with wear. Perfect!

This is for the Dansko Women's Sonja Black Cabrio Mule 8.5-9 M US. I wear 8.5 to 9. While these looked fabulous and I really liked the way they looked, they just did not fit. They were too big/loose, and for being a heavy clog with some weight to it, I felt it not safe to wear them as they could easily slip off or I could fall off them while walking and that is not good. Also b/c they were too loose, my feet slipped forward into the front ends and my toes hit the ends causing pain to my toes that hit the end. I would have to size down and see if a smaller size could fit. Some reviews stated the rim over the top of the foot was tight, but I did not find it too tight, but too loose. (I do not have a high or low arch). These looked great but just couldn't work in this size for me. Sad to return b/c they looked so nice.

I am on my feet all day in hospital and bartended for years, only shoes I will wear!! Make sure you get the right size (if unsure, order 2 sizes) wear around the house to make sure they hug your feet. So much support! Between wearing 40-60 hours per week at work and wearing with yoga pants regularly, I found they last about 2 years before they get stretched out and they lose support on sides where the middle of your foot sits. Not a negative for me at all!! More than happy to replace every 18-24 months. I just got my new pair and it’s like walking on air, they hug and cradle my feet all day. I love the inch or so they give you all though I am 5’9. Some people think they are heavy and yeah, they have some weight to them but doesn't bother me in the least. I am a forever, loyal wearer of Dansko mules!! *I did love when they had mules in patent leather but seemed to have discontinued that style. I am fine with black leather which can be touched up and shined with shoe polish if needed

I have worn these clogs for many years and I order a new pair yearly. They do have an issue with not being consistent with size. One will be wider or big and not fit properly. I have gone to stores and have had to have them bring me 3 different pairs in the same size and they all fit slightly different. My feet are exactly the same so it is not me.

After reading the reviews I am glad that I ordered the next size because they fit right in length, almost like my old ones, but the leather is too stiff. I'm a size 10 Regular but I got an 10.5-11, so 41 European, according to chart size on Amazon. I think that they are not sized correctly here. I am a European living in the US, and I always get a size 41 E anyway. The tow box is fine, with space for my toes. But they're too tight on the collar area pressing too much on the top on my foot bones, and the leather is so stiff that I am not sure that they will mold very well or stretch with time. My feet are not wide nor narrow, I just have high arches. I always were leather shoe tops, never man made, but this leather is too hard and stiff. My old clogs (from another brand, Land's End, from many years ago) which have softer black leather, also smooth like in these ones (not nubuck, and I prefer box leather because they still clean longer and do not stain so easily). The arch support (which I need for plantar fascitis) is moderate and good enough, but not as comfy as my old ones. They foot bed seems padded, but a bit harder. They feel and look almost the same, except the quality of the leather, so stiff... and much tighter collar area... So I am not sure that they will work for me, if my feet swell a bit when they get tired or it's warmer... But the soles feel good and comfortable when I walk inside the house, better than other brands I tried recently. These may work well though for younger people with narrower feet, but I am not sure with wider feet or high arches with also high top foot bones like me. So, sadly I may have to return them. And if I get a bigger size, I am afraid they may slip off. Too bad that the leather is not more flexible and softer so it can stretch a bit, because the rest of the clogs are good and comfy. That's why I gave them a 3 on the review. But if the quality of the leather was softer and also around the collar area they could be a 5. I hope they change the type leather because the rest was better than average. It is so hard to find clogs with comfy padded soles with arch support. P.S. I ordered them in black, so I am not sure if the leather is the same type in white. I did not get the white ones because I do not like the white color soles (because they're too dirty in white. They should be beige/tan or light brown, in my opinion). UPDATE: After walking on carpet less than a minute inside my home my bone spur (which has not bothered me for the last 3 years or more) started to hurt, yes it hurts! So definitely the padding is Not good and it hits on the wrong spot on the heels or arch area... I took them off, and it stopped hurting wearing my padded Birks.

I bought these a few months ago and wear them almost daily. I go walking in them. I wear them all around and still they look brand new. The support they give my feet is like NIRVANA. They are expensive but worth every penny. I am going to buy a regular pair because they are just the best shoe ever made. The mules never slip off my feet like other mules/clogs I have worn. I never buy cheap shoes so when I say best shoes ever, I mean it. You get what you pay for and more. The leather that these are made with is beautiful.

I ordered product accord to my shoe size. It came up quite small. Could have done with the next size up. I returned and got my refund without any problems!

Comfort and quality expected from Dansko, excellent arch support. Really like the black color with the wooden sole.

Not my first Danskos. NOT MY LAST !! Last ones were a lower heel with a removable insole. I started wearing because I heard they could align my step and help my very bad knees. My first ones I got at a local store. They helped alot but we're a few years old and not supporting my feet against rolling outward. Knees were aching again. These arrived and they are even better than my first Dansko clogs !! The insole isn't removable, it's not an issue for me, but wanted to note that difference however. The formed insole really pushed my arches up. Thought it might hurt after a day but I was fine. I love the strong arch and foot support !! The leather is thick and heavy and won't get mushy looking for a long time. Very very high quality leather. Beautiful oiled finish! ! My legs and knees feel aligned and I'm a bit taller and they look great ! Price was less than local retail. Could have waited for a sale I suppose but my knees are too important !! Dansko clogs and sandals will be all I wear from now on !!!!! Thank you DANSKO !!!
