Quality- check! We started using around the age of 5 and my daughters now 7 years old & she LOVES using this brush with the app!!! I think it would be perfect for any aged child who is ready to brush teeth on their own! There’s no battery, you just hook up VIA Bluetooth and download the app and you’re ready to go!The app is amazing ! I’ve watched her brush her teeth and use it (obviously) but it shows exactly where to brush, inside front and back of teeth. It shows the spots child didn’t brush and did brush and seems right on point. The base has lasted 3 years. We’ve only needed to buy replacement toothbrushes just like any tooth brush. Age range is perfect, performance is all that I could ask for and more in a tooth brush, the value for the money is sooooo worth it for a good and fun tooth cleaning. Size wise it was great when she was 5 probably could have used it even younger!10000000% recommend for any child!

The reason that only gave 4 starts is because the bristles wear out very easy. Literally, after a week off brushing, the brush was all misshapen.

I bought this for my ADHD, six-year-old son, he begs to brush his teeth every night so that he can get all of his points. Would recommend 10 out of 10

My kids had these refill/replacements out of the packaging and into their bases before I could figure it out! Happy to have a yellow and a red one so we can separate their toothbrushes more easily!

My son loves all the cool filters he can win. He gets a bit frustrated with how much you have to earn in order to buy new filters, however he is only 4, so sometimes delayed gratification feels like punishment lol.We both enjoy the independence and fun-ness we get out of this toothbrush and the app with it!

We got one of these too brushes from a grandparent and it had instructions for using a tooth brushing app, also by Colgate, to get kids motivated to brush. It has worked very well for my 5 year old. He loves it and it seems to do a good job of getting him to brush everywhere.
