All my dreams! I thought I was going crazy cuz I door wouldn't close all the way when I ouch the button. Im so glad I found these, simple design, easy to install and I zero issues closing my door now. So if you have a sunny garage and you door wont close this is you answer!

This product is well made and was easy to install. Unfortunately it did not solve my issue with the sun hitting my sensor. Just be careful because if the sun’s angle is directly hitting sensors these will not help. So there is a certain time, during a certain part of the year where the angle is just right and they don’t work. Otherwise they work great.

These salved our garage door problem and were very easy to install. Both installed in less than a minute. Good price to solve an annoying problem.

Item is as described, but it only blocks the sun part of the time. I added additional cardboard/tape as instructed and it still only works part of the time. Apparently I need a longer hood.

It took us a while to figure out that our garage door wasn't closing because during a certain time of the year, in the morning, the sun was hitting the door sensor just right. This caused the sensor to think something was in the way so the door wouldn't close. I tried making a few shields myself but to no avail. I found this item and thought I would give it a try. It installed very easily and immediately solved our problem! So happy it works, and happy to support an American entrepreneur.

For a few years now, in the spring and summer the sun was hitting my garage door sensor and it wouldn’t close unless someone stood inside and held the button down. It was a real pain. Many times someone would leave for a drive and have to text whoever was home “garage pls” so they would come and close it. I tried the paper roll trick, shielding it with old rewards cards, and other jury-rigged solutions. None of them worked. I ordered this product and the problem is solved. (I only needed one, for one side). It installed easily in seconds, and it has worked perfectly ever since. I’m also impressed this is produced and sold by an entrepreneurial young lad. I definitely recommend buying it if you have this sun/sensor issue.

I was a little surprised to find that these were filament printed. But they are well designed and were easy to install. They came with instructions and work great.
