The usb c to multiport adapter does not work with my laptop.

Not all the USB-C laptop / tablet is compatible with the hub. The steam deck dock requires that the USB-C port of your laptop must support charging, data and video output (DP Alt Mode) or Thunderbolt 3 / 4. Otherwise, it will NOT work.

I can not get 4K@60Hz.

1. 4K @ 60Hz is only available for laptops with DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode. If your laptop is DisplayPort 1.2 it can only reach 4K@30Hz. 2. To get 4K @ 60Hz, please ensure that both of your display and the HDMI cable support 4K @ 60Hz.

My USB-C laptop supports DP Alt Mode but the HDMI port still doesn’t work.

1. Please make sure that you have chosen the correct HDMI input source. 2. Update the BIOS and graphic card driver from your laptop’s official website, then restart your laptop to try again. 3. Set the laptop’s resolution as 1080P or lower.

My MacBook Pro could not charge over the type c multiport adapter.

The Type-C PD charging port supports max 100W output. However, 8W is dedicated to the function of the product, only max 92W will be passed to the host. It's best to use a more powerful USB-C PD charger like 38W, 61W, 87W for sufficient power supply.

I'm not sure about if the multiport usb hub works for my device as it is not listed in the compatibility list picture.
