Works great, had to cut it down to fit my stove (expected). Nobody makes the size that fits my model of stove. Was really easy to cut with a cheap set of Trauma Shears.

The blanket is working well. It was below zero the last couple of days and we had no problems with a very hot wood stove venting into our stainless steel pipe which is wrapped with this blanket.

I used it inside my burnham hot water boiler behind the access plate to the pilot and it’s keeping the heat inside and helping not to melt my pilot gas valve. As the years go the original insulation deteriorates as this worked as a fantastic replacement. I cut it with utility scissors and within minutes installed it. So far so good.

Used it to reinsulate around my oven after a mouse died. It was pretty easy to handle and quite thick. Even with how thick it was, it was pretty easy to cut through. I HIGHLY recommend long sleeves, gloves for handling, unless you want to get messed up. You probably don't need a mask or goggles if you aren't planning on cutting it, but I still recommend it. Just in case. So far my oven hasn't caught fire, but if it does I will update.
