ground coffee and t leave feature. Both worked well for me, and really happy
I have 3 coffee makers, however none use a k-cup. I didnt buy this for the k-cup, but its good to have for the odd time you see a good flavor or coffee on special, now I can get them. I bought this for the ground coffee and t leave feature. Both worked well for me, and really happy. It comes with the different inserts needed for each use you want. I tried the coffee first, and saw already on reviews about it not brewing a full cup so I packed the coffee in good, and hit the button twice. Worked fine, and I would use it for an espresso too from time to time, I do have an nespresso, but this makes it cheaper and not soooooooo espresso if you know what I mean.I followed it immediately with tea, and there was no taste of coffee from the machine. I like my coffee and like my tea, but not together

Arrived and never worked, company wasn’t helpful, returned
Let me start out by saying that I was so excited for this product to arrive! It was everything I wanted in a coffee maker.Today it arrived and it was packed well. Appeared sturdy in construction. Easy to understand instructions were included.I began as instructed: became familiar with the machine and attachments, then washed and dried the removable parts, then filled the water area up and inserted empty cup into holder as instructed and closed lid and heard the click. When I pushed the button to begin the cleaning cycle...the blue light flashed and went off. I tried 6 times in different outlets even. Nothing happened. So I called Amazon.Ok so the Amazon rep was amazing (if not a bit confused herself). She contacted the company and as she was beginning the 3 way call, they hung up. She was so confused. Apparently that just must not happen to them. Anyhow, she asked if she could try again, and I said sure. This time a lady was on the other line. All she did was take my information including the issue with my machine, and was going to have someone call me back in several hours. I couldn’t believe it! I waited a week to get it, and and it clearly doesn’t work. I even asked her about a replacement machine and she still said someone would call in several hours to make that decision. So I said goodbye. The Amazon rep assisted me in starting my return and refund, because I told her I no longer wanted a replacement as I no longer trusted this company

It's okay
The only thing I didn't like about this machine is that when it cleans it says that the reservoir is supposed to completely empty out and shut off, however it shuts off before it is completely empty so we have to lift the machine and tip the rest of the water out. This happens even when we make a cup. We have to fill it to the MAX line just to get a normal cup. So it's ok, not the greatest. This is the machine my cousin will be taking with her to college, in which was a gift for me. I already tested it out, so that I know it will not cause a fire, and that she can get the cup she needs to get her day started. I did get the protection plan, because if anything goes wrong they will replace it. I am not sure if the issue with the reservoir is supposed to be there, but we will see how it goes. I am glad there is an automatic shut off, just in case she forgets to get her cup or shut it down. I do like the three permanent cups for tea, k-cups, and then the scoop if she doesn't have the k- cups. I showed her how to use it and all you have to do is make sure the covers are on when you close it or it will not work. We tried all different ways, just to see if something would go wrong. Where she is going to use it heavily daily, I wanted to make sure it was durable and safe. This is the first time I have purchased this kind of machine. I have personally gone with hamilton and have had do problems, but mine is for a 12 cup and a k- cup, because that is what I wanted, however she just wanted a single cup maker. I am hoping this will last her the 4 years, I do know if I have any problems, I will be using that protection plan I purchased to fix the problems. If anyone else has had this issue with the reservoir I would like to know about it. Thank you all for reading my review, and I hope it helps. Also, it is hard to get replacement parts if something happens to the reusable k-cups.

A step in the right direction
Being British, I was mortified at the prospect of living in the country that had historically treated tea with such horror. Destroying shiploads of the deliciousness which is the sole reason why I am awake during the day by means of violent chucking into a river rather than throwing a grande Tea Time equates to an unforgivable sacrilege. This product, however, comes close second as it finally allows me to stop using disgraceful tea bags and enjoy the full flavour of leaft tea. It is certainly a step in the right directionCoupled with the fact that Prince Harry's children will be American, your country is finally moving closer to becoming a part of the great Commonwealth again.10/10 would buy this and make America a colony again.

Good idea, takes some time to get used to...
I would have gave it more stars because I was thrilled at the idea of the interchangeable pod baskets. I gave it two stars because it arrived fine and worked for about 15 seconds before it died. I promptly returned it.I bought this again from Bed Bath & Beyond. It arrived fine. Made a great cup of coffee. Like other reviews, it left a good amount of water in the reservoir and wouldn't make more until more was added. This is the only issue with the Gourmia 3-1.One important thing to note is that the machine WILL NOT pump water if there is no pod in the pod holder. There are two buttons on either side where the water dispenses that releases the water from in the tube inside the reservoir.Update: At work in the morning and my coffee has a slight plastic taste. I actually bought a french press after I returned my first coffee maker and it tasted alot better.
