Great cables period!
With or without the switch these are GREAT cables. I’ve been using them on multiple rig set ups and they are very durable have never had a plug end go bad or a cable fail over 10-12 years, where others breakdown on faulty designed plugs. The silent switch just adds another level of flexibility in silent guitar changing without standby mute activation. I’ve used and still use easily 12 of these cables, some over a decade. My go to brand guitar cable.

Good cable
Very nice cable as expected. The cut off circuit breaker works great now feedback at all when plug it in your cable. Well made and a good price especially for the length of the cable. The jacks lock in place tightly but you have to make sure you have it pushed in to where it locks. Would definitely have given this a five star review and still consider their say five Star product except you have to make sure you have that jack locked in place. This is really not product issue but a issue with myself because of a muscular disease I have effecting my strength in my hands. Matter of fact I'm going to change my rating to a five star.

Does What I Needed
I am a fan of Daddario products. I needed this cable to be noise free when unplugging from a jack on a guitar with active electronics to save my 9v battery with lengthy time between sets. A quick push on the button and you're either hot or quiet.

This is the right cord.
I really like these cords that have the on-off switch. It called a "latching cut-off switch", meaning that it stays latched to either on or off. It's not the momentary switch that is also available.I had earlier bought a cord where the Amazon description that said it was latching but was actually momentary. The product photo showed the text "momentary", but I didn't look closely at the photo before I purchased. This is the right cord.

Good cable to have.
I personally preferred the "original" old design. The button seemed a little smoother on those. I have no idea why they changed those to making you have to hold the button in while unplugging and plugging in again. Kind of a hassle (especially if you are dealing with a strap too.) But this does what the original circuit breaker cable did - allowing you to change guitars without having to turn down or have a "pop". Just push the button in, let go and push it again when you are ready to go. I just don't like the push button as well as before, it's probably just me but this seems a little more cheaply made. I will still rate it a 4 though as they are pretty great to have and I would buy it again.

Failed after 8 months of use
I play every day in my home studio and I change guitars a lot so being able to kill the signal while doing so was very appealing to me. Now eight months later the end without the kill switch is failing and I need to cut the cord and re-attach the plug. Like I said, I play every day, but I’m not in a band and really this cord has received very light duty. Very disappointing. Not a big deal to repair but the area where the cable meets the plugs is NOT reinforced well enough. I will place some shrink tubbing in that area when I fix it. This would be terrible if it happened on stage.
