Hallelujah Hands!!
YES! This is probably my third "waterproof" speaker so I can listen to music in the shower (the acoustics are great, okay?) and it's this far the ONLY actually waterproof speaker I've had.I've only had it for a few days, but when something's exciting, I like to post about it. This is worth my time to write. Is it the loudest? No. The speakers can fill with water and it distorts and mutes the sound. (Shake the water out or let the sound vibrate it out. Either works if you're too rushed to let it dry.) The connection is okay - good. I didn't really care about fancy lights or whatever. I just wanted something to work. Does it work? YES.I could definitely go for better sound. The suction cup was also disappointing, but I didn't plan on using it in the first place. But oh sweet L-rd, this actually worked.

Good volume, easy to use, holds charge, cool lights and sturdily waterproof.
I haven't tried submerging it, but it works great in my shower. It still gets pretty wet and even soapy, but I've never had a problem with sound or function. So far, it's held charge pretty well. I would say that I have to charge it once every other week, and we use it on average for about 10-minute shower, 5 days a week. The volume goes up really high, too, so you can hear the music easily over the shower. I haven't tried answering calls with it yet, but all the other buttons work fine and are easy to use.Just be aware that if you have it paired with more than one phone and both are within range when you turn it on, then you may have a problem with it connecting to the wrong phone, lol.

Loud speaker for its size!
I must say when I got this product I thought it would be much larger. Even though it is a little smaller than I expected, it has become one of my favorite speakers. I take it everywhere with me! When I am in the pool, I throw it in the middle and it sounds awesome. It also lights up and is very cool at night. It has FM radio but I do not use it much because I do find it a little hard to change from station to station. So I just use bluetooth and put the radio on through my phone. Overall it is a loud speaker for its size and is great sounding in water.

Sound quality is good and it's nice and loud
Sound quality is good and it's nice and loud, but this speaker has a couple of really annoying features.1) When the battery gets low, it says "battery low, please charge." Fine, but it cuts off the music to say this every 30 seconds for about 5 minutes and then just cuts off. For a speaker that's waterproof, they know people are going to be using it in the shower, why not have it give a low battery warning 15 minutes before it dies so you know to charge it after you get out? Since nags you every 30 seconds and then just croaks, it's really no better than if it just randomly died. Trying to listen to music is useless once it starts nagging you, and you don't have much time to get it to a charger after the alerts start.2) You have to hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on. Why can't it just turn on with a single press? If you take a shower every day and have to hold power for 3 seconds each day, that means that every year you spend almost 18 minutes standing around holding the power on. Double that if you want to turn it off instead of just letting it turn itself off automatically.3) When you turn it up all the way, the speaker stops the music and says, "maximum volume." Why can't it just say that softly underneath the music, or have a little indicator chime? Every time you crank it up, you have to have a break in the tunes while it says this.4) This speaker has no memory. So if you like a certain LED color or a certain volume, tough luck. Every time you turn it on, you have to go back and select the light color again and turn it up or down. Why can't it just remember the last setting you used and keep it until you change it?You get a good sound out of this, but using it is more annoying than it needs to be.

This is an awesome little speaker
This is an awesome little speaker. It survived without hickup after swimming with it in a lake and after that I'm confident it'll have a good life in my shower. The sounds is above average despite it being waterproof (which usually negatively effects sound quality) and it gets plenty loud enough to be heard outdoors, but possibly not loud enough for a louder environment. If you plan on swimming with it then the LEDs are a nice feature to be able to see it and not lose it.Really happy with it.

Does not work for audio books
ProsEasy to setup and configure.Suction cup works beautifully.ConsSound quality was sub par for size and wattage of speaker. (I expected mediocre quality due to size, but not this bad. My cellphone sounds better)If there is power to the speakers they constantly have a static sounds to them. You can hear this especially when the volume is turned way down. The speaker goes to a sleep mode if there is no audio playing for a few milliseconds. It then takes a second or two to wake up.My main complaint is the sleep/wake time. Attempting to listen to an audio book makes it completely useless. The first word or two is cut off for every single sentence because the speaker goes into the sleep mode each time the voice actor/actress takes a breath. If the volume of the speaker is turned down AND the voice actor/actress speaks quietly the static of the speakers ends up drowning out the speaking voice. You cannot make out what they are saying. You can also hear the static turn on and off as the speaker wakes/sleeps.As a test I connected the source audio to my stereo via Bluetooth as well and tested. Zero static and no cutting off of words.I also had the source audio volume set to MAX and tried turning to down to see if I could affect the static. No this did not affect the static.Concluding thoughtsThis may be a defective unit with the static, but for my opinion the wake/sleep timeout was intentional to save battery life. They weighed the downsides and figured it was worth the loss of consumer experience. Well in the case I wish to use the device, this caused it to be completely unusable.
