Social Emotional Learning lesson through STEM
We purchased this kit for our 9 year old son. He surprised me with how much he got out of it.We read the story, which introduced a character that lacks social emotional understanding and goes through a journey to discover emotions. Our son then worked to figure out the circuitry to put together the robot and lo and behold, he had a working robot that reacted to the conductive dough mini monsters we built (the cut outs were cute).I didn't think much of it until I asked him what he learned from the kit, and he gave me a detailed understanding of the mind-body connection and how emotions were processed from sensory input. He surprised me with how much he understood! So all in all, great job on teaching my kiddo!

Hours of fun, entertainment, and LEARNING!
As a Toy Designer, I got really excited about this 2020 Parents' Choice award-winning product and ordered it right away. This is a gamechanger at my house as kids absolutely love germs attack and definitely remember what white blood cells and platelets do. It also teaches youngsters the importance of washing hands and self-care, especially during pandemics. This is by far the most playful STEAM box I've seen. It helps little ones to solve real-world problems and improve their motor skills by putting together all the pieces. It's a combination of hands-on, storybook, and interactive play which makes it a super valuable STEAM item. I can't wait to see more from this creative company. Highly recommended for family with young kids!

A Few Hours of Good Hands-on Play
SUBSEQUENT REVIEW: Once my daughter got over her disappointment with the video issue described below, this turned out to be a good project for her. She was entertained for a good three hours. Just don't mention your child the video piece and it should be all good.INITIAL REVIEW: The concept is a nice one to entertain a child with. It comes with a book and some buildable toys. However, the attention to detail leaves much to be desired. I started doing this with my daughter and got her excited about watching the instructional video they advertise on their instructions manual (she liked the idea of having something visual to look at. We went to the web site they advertised. It prompted us to find the password on their camp guide. It was not clear to us what that might be but we looked and found something resembling it on a colorful envelope that seemed to fit the description. It's a long (19 numbers and some symbols) phrase. As tedious as it was, we typed it in. We got rejected. We tried three times and gave up. Come on guys. Is your video so valuable that you need to torture the parents and disappoint the kids to guard it?

Missing parts and previously opened
We're missing the grown-up guide and the broccoli you can punch out as already been punched out and is missing.I have no idea how to do the activities because the grown-up guide is missing. It is frustrating to buy a new product and have it been opened and missing things.[Edit] MeandMine contacted me and are sending a replacement. I have to say with the missing parts my daughter love the kit. The parts are high quality and beautifully done. We look forward to doing the activities when the replacement arrives. I'll be changing my two star review to five when it arrives. We love supporting small businesses and MeandMine was prompt and fast with addressing and fixing the problem.[Editx2]. They sent the replacement. We're very happy!

Fun for a 7 year old
My 7 year old daughter loved this kit. I didn't realize there was a book to follow along with at first, so the experiments didn't make a ton of sense but the kit had a good "flow" when I found it! My daughter especially liked the slime and poop. A caveat - this was definitely messier than I anticipated and it would've been good to do on a tray. Also, there are small caps on the bottom as an extra seal so be sure to remove them before trying to squeeze the glue, etc out!
