I wanted to like this scent but it kind of smells like a old school teacher and that I hate also the price is ridiculous these are $25 at Marshall’s

The notes for Crême de Violette are lavender gin accord, freesia and hinoki wood musk. There’s no indication as to what’s the top, middle or base notes. When I did my test spray this is what I got on my person.Top note: lavender gin accord(came out strong initially with the gin being strong)Middle note: hinoki wood musk(this note was kind of faint)Base note: freesia(this note was the one that stayed with me the most)Overall this scent on my person is a light floral that’s a bit powdery. It’s not bad, not my jam, so I’ll probably layer it with another scent. This was a blind buy for me.The wear time for this is about 4 hours. If you want it to last longer I suggest using a body wash and lotion that smell similar to it, that will extend your wear time.My bottle did come with a sticker on the bottom that had a price tag from Urban Outfitters that had it for $25. I checked their website and it is being sold there for that much. “The more you know”

It is not overwhelming. So if you are around a lot of people, this is nice to use for yourself to have a slightly fruity aroma. The soda pop scent is not obvious, and that is okay since I wouldnt want to be a walking soda fountain.

You can buy these for much cheaper at Urban Decay, this store is selling them for $40 when Urban Decay sells them for $24, I can understand selling for a profit but be for real. They smell amazing but the scent does not last at all. I sprayed on quite a bit and within about 30 mins I could not smell it anymore. It’s just not worth it and you can’t return it so I wasted $40.
