Water Systems Screw-On Caps for Water Cooler/Dispenser Plastic Jugs, 48mm Bottle Lids

I ordered these 3 replacement lids because we lost 2 originals and a third one was damaged. I carefully measured the neck of the bottles as described in the Amazon ad, ordered them and received them in 2 days. As you can see, they look and fit like the original ones. A much better solution than the aluminum foil we were using instead. I expect a long time of service for these lids, as they are ruggedly made, lined with a good seal inside, and fit tightly. The price was also very modest for something so critical.

Based on another reviewed, I assumed the standard size for water bottle caps was 48mm. I ordered these, received the caps in two days but unfortunately the caps were too small. I measured the bottle opening and it appeared to be at 51mm. I contacted the seller and they responded in just minutes and informed me they would ship out the 53" lids the next day!. I received the 53" lids three days later and they fit perfectly. Note on my water bottle. The dispenser is a GE model the water bottle is a 5 gallon nestle (ones you buy at the orange store). Of course do not take my word for it - measure your bottle before ordering. 5 stars for seller service alone. The lid is well a lid but does it job.

I searched long and hard for a lid to replace an ice cube bottle that we use when driving in our RV. We have used this great device for a dozen years. There are no available replacement bottles that work as well, so I really wanted to find a new lid (the old one broke). We measured so carefully in ordering, but this simply did not fit. However, we were refunded our purchase price in returning it.

Product fits your typical 3 gallon and 5 gallon plastic jug that is used for practically any water dispensing unit. My old seal was leaking so I got this set and fits great, no more leaking during transport. Good product, great price.

This item should NOT be considered as a UNIVERSAL CAPS. They do NOT fit ALL of my 5 gallon water bottles. So disappointed.

The price is pretty steep but it worked. I ended up finding these at local water supply place after I already purchased these. Compared to 50 cents a piece, these are pricey. If you can find them elsewhere you may be able to save a few bucks.
