My favorite pen
I really loved this pen! It’s my current favorite fr fr. I really hate how in between lectures I wouldn’t be able to write fast enough because I would have to rummage through my pencil case for a different colored pen, and this thing makes note taking phenomenal. I never had any problems with the ink smudging unlike the previous pilot G2 pens I would use, it dries pretty quickly.

The best 4-color pen and pen in general
I've tried many multi color pens from different companies and this is by far the best. I just finished out my ink on one of these pens which I've been using for a little over a year and just recieved a new one which is just as good (alternatively I could have just refilled the ink). In the time I've used it, it has been consistent and never skips on me. It also feels very smooth to write with while having a very fine line. Visually it almost looks like the new one with little to no discoloration. The only thing that is sort worn is the clip. The clip still works fine, but if I push on it to the side I can feel it pop out of the joint (but it immediately pop back in when I let go).The only downside to this pen, is that because it is so fine, it can be hard to tell colors apart in dim lighting. At first I thought my Bic multi pen was brighter than this, but it was in fact the line thickness. In a side by side, the acroball was noticably brighter and also more vibrant. I still prefer this fine line type as I think it gives a much cleaner look.I think I got this pen for 4 dollars, but it is still well worth it at the 6 dollars it's priced at at the time of writing this....forgot to mention, it is the most comfortable pen i have to write with since it has the typical wide grip of a 4 color pen and also does not need much force to put down ink.

Works great, minus the red ink.
So, I knew I would love this pen after getting into to a medium-tip, Pilot Acroball pen for the first time. I prefer fine-tipped, though, and was worried that the size of the nib would effect the ink quality - but, it writes just as beautifully as its medium counterpart. The only exception, is that the red in both of my 4-color Acroball pens is utter rubbish. They skip constantly, and it just doesn't cooperate with any attempts to re-trace the missed lines. If it does not go onto an area the first time, it just will not do it.It would be a little better if the other colors were more varied vs. the black in the barrel, but the blue and green are very subtly different, in my opinion. Immediately my preference was to swap exclusively between the black and the red for my planner, but it just did not work out that way. Oh well! I still really like it, and would recommend it for its smooth ballpoint ink.

Smooth fine point!
The fine point is spot on! Writes very fluidly. As someone who is a pen snob, I didn’t expect this one to make the cut… but happily, it did!

WAY better than Bic! Still too large diameter. I have only had a short time though...
I previously bought a 3-pack of BIC 4-Color Pro pens for about the same price as ONE of these pens. Around $7 for one of these, and around $7 for THREE of those. This is a better pen. The BIC is cheaper feeling (even though they're both plastic pens), the writing sometimes has little gaps and skips in it, and the clip is pretty useless (can't clip it on the color of a T-shirt or polo shirt and expect it to stay there, and it jabs you in the neck). I opened up this Pilot and it's a whole different experience. The writing is super smooth and skip-free, and the clip actually works. My only complaint is that it's like pulling teeth trying to find a narrow diameter 4-color pen, and this one is no more narrow than any of the others I have found. That stinks. And being plastic it isn't exactly professional looking or feeling. But whatever...it works well and does its job better than some cheaper alternatives. I will update my review after I have had it for a while and can speak to how it holds up with more use.

Simply the best
I’ve tried every multi colored pen out there, and this one is hands down the best. I held out for a while because of the price, but it’s definitely worth it!
