Decent Wire Strippers
I purchased these wire strippers to replace a pair I have had for years, these are nice & strong and seem to be able to deal with all the different thicknesses of wire I used with them Very pleased with them for the money.

Good Product
Sometimes the jaws don't always grab and cut. But in general very happy with these and should have bought some before now.

Great For Stripping Outer Insulation From 3 Core and T&E
The media could not be loaded. I already have wire strippers that have dedicated diameter blades to strip single wires. They work really well and have done for 25 years! What I wanted was something that would strip the outer insulation from 3 core mains flexes and twin and earth quickly and easily. I usually do this with a Stanley knife but this takes a lot of care and is time consuming. These strippers do this job really well. In the attached video you can see them stripping the outer insulation off 3 core mains flex, 1.5mm twin and earth and 2.5mm T&E.The cable cutter isn’t as good as proper cutters, but is more than adequate. Same goes for the crimpers. As this is meant to be a multi-purpose tool it carries out all of its functions well. The rubberised handles are comfortable and don’t require too much force to operate.Although I have shown it stripping outer insulation in the video it also does a good job on smaller diameter wires. There is a flip-up plastic length guide to help achieve the right amount of stripped wire.I will only be using this for DIY, but the tool is sturdy and seems to be well made and is perfect for my requirements. The manual is pretty useless but these strippers are so easy to use it’s not really necessary.I haven’t had these strippers long enough to comment on their long term durability, but I will update this review if there is anything to report.A well made, solid tool that does what I wanted perfectly. Recommended!

Much better than my last pair and a 5a cheaper
The media could not be loaded. Excellent wire strippers very accurate with a clean cutThey have a rigid plastic handle and a few crimp sizes in the mid sectionMetal head and teeth spring loaded all clean and well made they are much better than my old set that cost a little more can be adjusted for different gauge wire and makes easy work of it very good for the price

Sturdy, comfortable in the hand work well.
Sturdy and robust with a good hand held length which allows for easier handling. The cutters strip wires, cut and also are able to crimp so are much better than my very old hand me down wire strippers that I've had for over 20 years. They have a pressure controlling screw near to the jaws so it's easier to strip finer wire without accidentally cutting, which is something I've done lots and ended up shortening the wire I'm stripping by an inch or so trying to get the outer cover stripped.I have arthritis in both my hands but still find these OK to use, I did get them mainly to keep in my toolbox for when I get jobs done by friends as it saves them needing to bring their own tools. A great pair of cutters which crimp and strip do are more versatile than my old ones.

Really easy to use, makes the accurate stripping of wire a doddle.
This is the first automatic wire stripper I have owned. When initially faced with it I wasn't sure exactly how to use it and frankly the user manual was not very helpful. However I looked on YouTube and there are many videos about how to use automatic wire strippers, with a lot of them look quite similar to the ENGiNDOT and so within a few minutes I was wire stripping like a pro!The head of the tool is the wire stripping part of the tool and as you can see in my photos you basically place the cable along the travel path at the top of the tool and then when you squeeze the pliers then quite magically the tool strips the plastic away from whatever length of wire you want to reveal. The ENGiNDOT also has other features built in to the handles, there's a wire cutter and also cable crimping teeth up the inside of the plier arms. It's still early days for me. I haven't fiddled with the wire "fine-tuning knob" or even the orange wire length adjustment lever... because I have achieved what I wanted to do with the tool set up as it arrived. This is going to be a key part of my toolbox, and why I didn't get one of these years ago I'll never know. Those days with stanley knives and scalpels hacking away at plastic insulation are now a thing of the past. For the retail price of around £16 this seems to be a well made strong piece of kit and it can save a lot of fiddling when you need to make electrical connections.

A great way to get your wiring done without the hassle
These are solidly made and sturdy enough to do most small electrical work out there. They are a good size, about 210 mm long and has jaws which are 50 mm wide closed, and 60 mm wide when opened. It do most things you’ll ever need to do when it comes to using wiring. It strips, cuts and crimps. An all rounder which will come in handy in anyone’s toolbox. To begin with this this has a little orange plastic catch which helps when it comes to stripping the cover off ends of wire at a set length. Push the orange catch along from ¼ inch to ½ inch, then the wire sits against the orange catch and you strip off the exact length end. To strip wires at other lengths you just pull the orange catch down so it’s not in the way. There’s a little screw near the jaws which controls how much pressure you put on the wire so you don’t squash the wire inside the casing. On the inside of the handles there’s the wire cutters and the crimpers. The very start of the handle, nearer the jaws, is for cutting the wire whilst the notches and bumps long the inside of the handle are there to crimp the electrical connectors onto the wire. Cramping them in place with security and confidence. The handles are quite comfortable and so easy to squeeze, stripping the wire/crimping the ends, without any real effort on your part. Bouncing back into position ready for the next job.In all, a fine pair of wire strippers/cutters/crimpers which won’t let you down when you need it the most. Easy to use, comfortable and practical, what more do you want?

Einfach Klasse...
