This is the better mouse trap
This trap works very well. I catch a mouse a day and could very likely catch more if I could check the traps more often. I set the trap along a wall or step with no bait. The mice run along the wall and snap, another mouse. I use this trap along with other type such as Havahart. It's my experience that mice will be attracted to different objects and having a variety of traps seems to get better results. We have a large amount of oak trees that seem to attract many mice, voles, chipmunks and other rodents. It is very hard to believe the amount of mice I have (had) between the house, garage and barn. I like this trap best because the large trigger. Most of the mice I trap because the mouse was running thru the area. I do not bait because I'm concerned the food would only attract more mice. This trap can be tricky to set, hair trigger, but if you bait and find your trap empty and the trap still set you will appreciate the fact that this trap works. I also like the fact that the mice do not suffer like a glue trap.

top rat trap but
very nice trap i caught lot of mice with it but you have to adjust the angle of the yellow trigger pad depending how heavy or light your mice or rat is

Efficient and works every time, unlike the metal trigger designs
I dislike having to use mouse traps, but living in an old 1887-built house in a city it just seems like a necessity. Unfortunately my local stores only carry the old fashioned metal trigger-type traps which quite honestly simply don't work. Last week I used those and found that the rather talented mouse was able to gobble up the cheese or peanut butter quite nicely and never trigger the trap. Thankfully Amazon still has the plastic pedal type which expedites the mouse's passing on to his ancestors.

Efficient classic reusable moustrap
This trap decapitates the mouse, and is a classic old-fashioned style mousetrap. It is easy to use when you follow the directions for it. Just be sure you don't set the spring to snap shut until you've finished setting the bait, as you don't want to injure yourself by accident. Having these on hand solves any brief mouse issues now that I no longer have a cat in the house.

Impossible to set
I've used victor mouse traps before with 0 issues and these ain't it Way, way too sensitive. Going off while sliding them along the surface, or just after a few minutes of setting from nothing. After your 5th time having a trap go off from nothing, flinging peanut butter everywhere, you start to wonder if mice are so bad afterall

Reliable and Dependable
I tried other products (mouse traps), before buying this particular brand. I am very satisfied with the results. I set traps in suspected areas and the traps caught mice. I used peanut butter and a small portion of cheese as bait. Another effective bait is put butter on the yellow spring board first, then put MOUSE X poison pellets on the cheese. The mouse will remove the pellet and eat it elsewhere and die. These traps are very sensitive and will set off very easily. If you have a mouse problem, I strongly recommend this product. WARNING handle thses traps very carefully or they will go off in your hands. Always keep your fingers clear. Happy Hunting!

A war going on
I am glad I bought this mouse trap. They are small yet solid and well made. Small enough to put them in small tight corners and spaces . I have not trap any mouse yet not because the trap doesn't function well, it's because the mouse in my apartment are very intelligent. For some reason they have figured out that I have set deadly landmines on their rudely acquired turf so they now tread carefully. In addition to the traps, I have also set around mouse glue traps. I was lucky with the glue trap. I was able to trap one on the first day the traps was set. Ever since l havent been successful. The war still rges on. I have not given up. We shall see who have higher intelligence. Human being or house mouse . This reminds me of the cat and mouse catton show when I was a kid. I intend to show them that I am wiser and a smarter than the cat they toy around. I will update later...

Great, but faulty
I honestly say these traps work. I've caught a mouse every single one I've put out. Unfortunately, half of them are faulty, I've had to thrown out half of them due to it not being able to latch on. It seems to be just a bit too far from the handle, so I've snapped my finger multiple times. It's very frustrating. I want to love it but I'm afraid to buy more when I can't predict how many are actually faulty.
