The reduced flow rate may also affect shower head performance.I use two Pentair Pentek 150071 standard filter housings of which the first inline contains a 5-micron sediment filter immediately followed by the carbon block filter. Within one year I do not exceed the13,000-gallon capacity; regardless, I change the filter every year. Based on my water quality, the 1-micron carbon block filter yields almost tasteless water. As such, I recommend these filters without reservation.

Seem to be a good quality filter, works as intended with my under sink unit. Produces clear and odorless tap water.

I have installed this replacement filter in my home and so far it has performed as it should. I am on well water with a filter system in place to remove most of the particles, this removes the rest of it to give me clear water with no residue that might be left over from the main filter. It is like having bottled water coming from your sink faucet. The taste is better than what I used to get from the store and cooking with filter water gives my food a bit more flavor than I had before. It really does filter out everything and just produces pure natural water. Highly recommend this filter if you are looking for that extra bit of filtering.

Used one of the three for my GX1S01R drinking water filter system. I was a bit worried as they are slightly different than the GE ones used for just drinking water. But I swapped them, and it works great! Seems just as good as the GE ones taste wise.
