It is a personal space speaker.
This is not a boom box. It is a good speaker with great sound. But don't abuse it's qualities. In your office, bedroom, living room, kitchen, it is great. Not for parties or machine shops. I purchased this for my USB flash drive. And it works great! When you first place it in the back, the radio plays the drive from the first, in order. If you turn the radio off and leave the drive in, it will start right where you left off. So audio books or how to instructions or song lists will start where you ended them. BIG plus.... you don't have to re-tell it that you are using a USB drive. It recognizes it as soon as you turn it on, and starts playing. The buttons is where this really shines... 4 buttons. 1- Turn off and on, 2- rewind back to beginning or just back one track depending on how long you hold it., 3- pause and/or play, 4- forward to next track or farther depending how long you hold it down. That is it and all you need. The USB is a standard mini, (android type) which most people have. If you don't have one, get a set of adapters for a few bucks, get the ones that can connect to the cord itself. Always ready when you need it and can't get misplaced. It can be kept plugged in all the time, and will be fully charged when you want to take it and go. Otherwise, it will take 2 or 3 hours to fully charge if you run it down. The charge lasts longer than most people will listen to it, so if you are a regular listener, then just plug it in when you go to bed. It is priced well for giving too, and easy for even the most tech challenged person,... young or old. I highly recommend it!

Love this!
Best blue tooth speaker I’ve ever owned. Love the fact that it’s so small and could easily be transported. Sound is amazing and it also has a long battery life before you have to recharge.

Inexpensive low quality speaker but loud and clear enough for $15
I like this item. It cost $15 and the volume has always been enough for a mildly loud work place. I have never maxed the volume. Yes, the sound isn’t great but it sure is good enough for $15. It is a cheap speaker I can leave at work. The the missing star is because I think the charging port has given out after a year of 3-5 day a week/2-3 hour per day use.

Lots of sound for me to watch television
A lot of power in its small size. I was pleased to see how easy it was to connect my iPad to it. For the time being I have no television and so I am watching tv on my iPad. But the volume on the iPad is not very good this Bluetooth speaker puts out all the volume I need. It came fully charged. All I had to do was turn it on and then go to settings on the iPad, choose Bluetooth and click on I10 and it connected. I can raise and lower volume both on the device and on the iPad

Works only in certain positions
UPDATE: I bought two other speakers and both had the problem of cutting out at the beginning of a word after a pause so that it said, "..apter 21," etc. I've raised my review to 3 stars because it has adequate quality and sound, but loses the connection to my Iphone if I let the phone dip below the level of the dashboard. I didn't have to keep the phone above the dashboard for the two news ones to work, however, like I did with this one so I raised the rating from 2 to 3 stars. When it does play there is good sound quality and volume. OLD REVIEW: This speaker has good sound and volume; however, the connection with my phone and audible book begins to break up if the phone is lower than the steering wheel. The battery charge lasts a long time, but I have to hold the phone in order for the speaker to connect perfectly with the phone. If I set the phone down, the connection begins to break up and it is too unpleasant to listen to. If I could listen to my book without having to hold the phone while I'm driving, I'd give it five stars. I have another cheap speaker I got from a discount store and it has flashing lights. It lasts for 3 hours. I just plugged it in and wedged it between my shoulder and the seat so I wouldn't be bothered by the lights and it lasted all the way home connected to the car. My trips are 800 miles at a time so having a book to listen to without having to manipulate the position of the phone in relation to the speaker is important to me.

A Frugal Speaker Without Compromises
I'm actually kind of shocked, this speaker will get decently loud if you ask it to. Its not comparable to my computer's sound system or the home theater speakers. But for something I'd throw in my bag for a bonfire circle. Its pretty okay. All the cons aren't really issues in my opinion. I wanted a good tool for 10 USD, compromised at 17 USD for this unit. Yes you get what you pay for, and in this case its a pretty solid unit. I don't shill often, but when I do I still feel obliged to mention any negatives. For people who are not gadget and "toy" collectors like me. Pros Super cheap. My family does Christmas games for some novelty prizes. I'm getting a few more units for that. This thing is pretty loud, at its highest possible volume it appears to distort the music a bit. But if you want it to, it can do it. The bass isn't especially great, treble easily overpowers it. Its just too small to push enough air to be especially pronounced, but its not absent. Its got a 1500mAh battery, that holds a lotta juice and can play a good bit of music, I'm not going to test it. I'll just take it on faith that the advertised playtime is accurate. Cons USB 120/220 wall adapter NOT included. The USB charging cable is short and insulated by rubber instead of braided nylon. The USB charging port is slightly stiff at first. It seems the plastic facade is a bit oversized, a few careful connections and disconnections loosened this up. It does have Bluetooth latency, its not low latency but I don't know why someone would expect it to be. Technical; Size; Length With Depth | 175X47X70mm Battery; 1500mAh Power supply; DC-5V/1A via Micro-B USB (NOT USB-C) Charging; about 3 hours from dead Playtime; Rated for about 10 hours at 60% Model; A10 [hardware revision 5.0] Speakers 4 Ohms 5 Watts 5 Watts Frequency Response 75hz-20Khz Input Methods; USB, (micro)SD Card, AUX Cable, Bluetooth Bluetooth Range; 33ft [Bluetooth can get less range depending on radio interference. And physical obstruction; ie taking the phone to three rooms over and closing the door.] The Bluetooth has a signal named A10 and one that is unnamed with a physical address. Just connect to the A10 and don't worry so much.

Excellent Extra Speaker
This is the Lenrue Wireless Wave Speaker. The technical facts on the box say it recharges in 3 hours with the supplied USB cord, it has two 3 watt speakers, and the wireless range is 33 feet. "Black" is checked on the box. It is also available in gray. It's a small speaker, 7" X 3". That said, I got it to fill a perhaps unusual need. The very complex sound system on my car went out, and the U connect system on a recent Dodge Dart costs $800 to fix, so I looked for a work around. Although billed as wireless, this speaker can also act in a wired fashion, and includes a cord for that purpose. Some of the reviews say the cord is not very good. I replaced it with a readily available braided, longer cord with plugs on both ends. I plugged one end into the AUX input on the back of the speaker, and the other into the headphone jack of a small, portable Memorex CD player, creating a $50 alternative to $800 in car repairs. How's it work? I would say great. To activate the speaker, one holds down the leftmost of four buttons on the top, until one is answered with chimes and a blue light in the speaker grille, indicating the unit is on. The easiest thing to do is start the CD player, and then press the same button on the speaker, which cycles it through three options: the first is seeking a bluetooth signal from a wireless sound source, the second is the AUX input (input through the wire), which is the one I want, so that the music is heard through the speaker. The third is SD card mode. The light flashes blue when searching, and glows steadily blue when it locks on a signal. One will heave to consult other reviews about the other options as I am only using the wired mode. My speaker needed charging upon arrival, A lamp glows red while charging through the USB cable, and goes off when fully charged. I plug the USB plug into the charging block for my iPhone, and charge it that way from an A.C. outlet. The other buttons on top of the speaker work as a volume control, although they also have other functions which don't apply when using the speaker in the wired (AUX) mode. I don't like a lot of bass, but I'm aware that many do. I wouldn't say there is a lot of bass, but perhaps compared to other speakers of this size there it. The obvious question is why don't I just set a boombox on the seat? I tried that, but the CD player skipped a lot and finally gave up, and the unit ran down 6 "C" cells rather quickly. This CD player runs on 2 AA cells, and doesn't seem to burn through them. Given that the volume can be adjusted on both the speaker and player, it seems plenty loud for listening in my car, and the small size makes it easy to take in and out of the car.
