Yamaha Arius YDP-103 Digital Piano Bundle with Furniture Bench, Headphones, Austin Bazaar Instructional DVD, and Polishing Cloth - Rosewood

I am in love with the sound of this piano. Nice extras such as the books and headphones. The bench is really nice, but if you like to store your books under your bench get another one because this one doesn't have storage feature. In my case I love the bench because it is good quality and very nice, and I don't keep my music paper under my seat.I am really in love with the sound. It has a real piano sound that makes you want to play more and more!The lid closes perfectly and the appearance is solid overall. The keys feel like the real thing with nice weight and sensitivity.I didn't assemble it by myself and I asked my handyman to do that. I watched him and his son assemble it and it takes some skill and time, however you can see the quality of the item is great. Unless you are super handy and strong don't try to do it on your own. It is worth it to get someone handy to do that.Overall I highly recommend this piano. I bought this one after having a Casio for about 4 months and struggling with many issues. I love this Yamaha a lot! Incredible value for the money. Yes, you are spending a little more than with other brands but you are also getting great quality and peace of mind.

I am very happy with this purchase. It arrived on time. I was a little worried because the box looked like it had been opened before but I figured maybe it was to insert the free ear phones. Looks like that was right because everything was properly packed inside and obviously had not been tampered with. It was easy to put together and everything fit well. I found a site on you tube that described how to do it. It is necessary to have two people to put the keyboard on the base. The feel of the keys is to me just like a piano and so is the sound. It is better in both of these ways than I expected so I am very pleased. Although the head phones only are worth $20, they work very well with the piano. Their sound is very clear and the noise does not leak out of them into the room. I did a lot of researching this piano on the internet and was worried a little about the right pedal but I don't see how it works any different than a regular piano pedal. I highly recommend this piano. I guess there are better Yamahas for more money but this is a really good one in my opinion.

You are likely looking at this paino because you know the word: Clavinova. This is not a clav. It is, however, the closest thing you will get to a clav before making a huge price jump.My wife and I purchased this after having to leave our piano in a previous home because it wouldn't survive the move across states. With the reality that we were likely going to move again, we decided we needed to think about a piano that could, likely move with us.In considering all on offer from Yamaha, we eventually landed here, at the Arius. It has many of the same features of a clavinova, but not that price tag the usually comes with it.The keys are nicely weighted and responsive to varying degrees of input. The Smart Pianist app works well with it. It sounds quite nice, as well.Having played Clavinovas, I will say, it is not that, but I am very pleased with how close it is, given the price point. A real value for money piece. I highly recommend.

As many other people, I did worried about the delivery and packing of such a huge and heavy but also very expensive product!! Now I really appreciate the service and the piano! It came in perfect condition, no scratch nor a tiny flaw/damage at all. And I managed the assembling by myself (an OK-handy mum in 30s), but took tons of care, the keyboard part is the most heavy one, and I "hugged"-hold it very carefully, and slowly adjusted it in order to be fixed, and then tighten the nails that should be in correct place. The instructions outside of the big box was very very helpful! In the end, I have to give my tiny review on 163 too. As heard and described, it is very similar to a grand piano, sound, feeling of the weighted keys, etc. I bought it in order for me to teach my 4-year daughter and this is the perfect one for her to start and later to love playing on a grand piano!The only thing is that I think the hardware came not as described, because I found the nails for the hook in order to hang the earphone below the keyboard are missing.

Yamaha needs to find out why the top octive will not play; thats right, 13 total keys.. I am not the only one to experience this problem. DO NOT BUY Pianos from Yamaha until they fix the problem. All you need to do it read the reviews. If you have placed an order, then cancel it. If it is on the way, then test the unit before you unpack the bench and legs. Amazon Prime paid for the return and it sits on my doorstep. BE AWARE!

I was nervous ordering a large item over Amazon, and the packaging did come with some puncture holes in the box. But I was relieved that everything was well packaged, and I examined every piece for a scratch or imperfection, but it was all flawless. I LOVE this YDP-143! I tried a lot of digital piano's and hated the key action, but I LOVE the key action on this Yamaha! I was very tempted to order the YDP-163 because it has more powerful speakers - but I have the piano against the wall in my home office, and I've had to turn the volume down to about the 3/4 mark and it's still as loud as my spinet piano was. Did I mention how much I LOVE this piano? Merry Christmas to me!!

The media could not be loaded. First, they put the wrong tracking number and just deliver us a polishing cloth to meet the two day prime.After two more days we get the piano.We are very exciting and happy at first. Then we found that the right most 8 keys are stuck very hard you need press extremly hard and then the key will be stuck down! I post the video so you guys can check that.Very disappointed. I start playing piano since 5 years old for about 10 years. I haven't been playing for 10 years, I really miss the feeling of playing and had high expectation for this product but turn out heart-borken for me to see these keys not functional.Edit: We conatacted the seller, and they replaced a brand new one for us. This time, the piano is working perfect!
