Versatile and Sturdy **UPDATED 02/22/19**
I've had my desk for only a few hours and LOVE it! I'd researched various portable tables for weeks before deciding to try this one and I am quite happy with my choice thus far. I purchased the yellow one. I would have preferred the red but this was the only color available when I purchased it. I thought the yellow would be quite bright and garish but the color is more like a burnished gold due to it being aluminium. So, this pleased me.I am not very mechanically inclined and it was super easy for me to adjust it in many different positions. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. However... I have no idea how to adjust the mouse pad on this model. This was not covered in the instructions. Also the USB cord for the fans was missing. From reading many prior reviews, this company appears to have a very good record of customer service so I am confident they will rectify this.It is surprisingly sturdy for being so light weight.I fractured my back in 3 places a couple months ago so I really needed something that would be quite versatile for varied use positions from sitting to lying in bed prone or propped. This more than fits the bill. Now, off to yet again attempt figure the mouse pad!EDIT: The company responded IMMEDIATELY to the issue of the missing USB cable AND explained how to adjust the mouse pad.***UPDATE*** I have now had this desk for almost one full year. I use it EVERY day and it is still going strong! The built in cooling fan is phenomenal. If I needed another I would not hesitate to purchase this from this company again. If I ever have the need to purchase this as a gift I will be back.

ok - but not 100% satisfied.
So far so good. But I just started using it last night.I was initially mystified by the two black plastic clips. I had no idea what they were for, until I saw the picture in your email. There should be a picture of them in place on the stand, included on the instruction sheet, as it is in this email. That would be helpful.I paid the extra money for the mouse rest, but I only got a flimsy slotted attachable one. Not the nice built-in one as the picture showed. Also, it desperately needs just one more length of bendable legs. It falls short of being an effective tool to use while seated at the couch or living-room chair, with its legs resting on the floor...And that was the soul purpose of my purchase.And...not that it absolutely NEEDS it...but it sure would be nice to have...that last length of bendable legs be able to be twisted flat as well as bend vertically so that the leg can be made flat to slip under the chair or couch. This way you can get really comfortable by allowing the tray to get as close to you as possible while you sit all the way back in the chair or couch. Although, if I had the extra length of bendable legs, perhaps I would have been able to figure out a way to do that without that extra length needing to be twisted flat. All in all, I'm not 100% satisfied. But I am satisfied enough that I wont be returning it.That said, I also agree with the following:---My computer getting too hot from resting on the blanket. Now i solved that problem.---LOVED it that it's ultra lightweight.---It folds up very, very thin. I can slip this under anything.

So cute you could pinch it and it pinches you back!
Arrived on time and in good condition. I have looked for a while to find a decent laptop desk. After years of different shapes and styles, it seems this desk fits me fine. I just got it and have already used it in multiple locations at different heights and all the pieces lock as they should. Just figure the angle you need and push the button to move the leg... it is super quick to set up. Makes putting it under the bed, behind my chair or under the couch simple. To me the color seems a bit more orange than red like it looks in the ad, but I like the color. The fans keep the computer as cool as any of these type of fans do. For the price (got it for 50 bucks new) I can't say I have had any better desk. Only thing I would change is maybe make the entire thing from aluminum, including the joints, as I could see future issues with the plastic losing its shape/wearing out from use. Last little note, no big deal for me too much, but the tight tolerances between the aluminum on the mouse area can create a place that will pinch a hair or two from you.. I just covered the area with my mouse pad. Hair thief area shown in the pic.. if it posts.

Very well designed. Mouse pad info. Rear vent info.
The stand itself is very well put together, and with the extremely adjustable legs there is no issue regarding height whatsoever. A couple things to note, however.1. The mouse pad is made of the same semi-gloss aluminum as the rest of the desk. This is very durable, but presents an issue for optical and laser mice in that it can reflect and/or distort the mouses' tracking and cause incorrect movement on screen. Recommend end users have a soft mousepad they can use. Recommend manufacturer add matte coating to mousepad.2. The fan system works very well. The only recommendation I have is to include an On/Off switch so that I can turn it off without having to unplug it every time.

Well built
I developed a sciatica problem and could not sit at my desk. This unit has allowed me to stand at my desk with comfort. My cordless keyboard is larger than the left side of the stand and because the keyboard feet are not all on the stand surface I used rubber matting and a portion of a small 3M sticky pad to support the lower right corner. It is solid feeling and does not wobble. There is sufficient room for my cordless roller ball mouse. I put rubber padding under it also.

Too complex for me
This looked durable and useful but was way too complicated to adjust and set up in my opinion. My 17 year old even smashed his fingers trying to help me. I returned this right away!
