What is the difference between the classic blend and the gold blend? does this taste similar to english breakfast tea?

Come on now reviewers! There are only two of you who told us how the classic compares to the other Barry's. This "Classic Blend" is the subject at hand. Barry's has 3 blends besides the decaf. The question is how does this classic blend compare to the "Gold" and the Irish Breakfast? Thank You

Classic is my favorite and what I drank when I lived in Ireland. It's very strong and pungent. I'd say the Gold is more delicate and a "normal" black tea while the Irish Breakfast is by far the lightest. Classic is a blend you'll either love or hate.

I love the Barry's Gold and have steeped pots and pots of it. How does the black box blend differ in taste?

I love them both, I do think the "black box" may read a bit stronger than the gold. For me, it is more evocative of the tea served at EVERY pub, tea shop or hotel in Ireland - a VERY good thing!

What's the difference between master and classic blend? The packaging looks similar.
