Delicious tuna

Yum! Excellent tuna. I strained most of the oil out but even the olive oil had a nice taste. Very good quality tuna.

I originally ordered this product from a local Italian market. The tuna fish was absolutely divine. But they were small cans. I decided to order this product off of Amazon. The cans were very nice size. When they arrived, and I met the Amazon delivery at the door. When I picked up the package, it was incredibly hot like it had been sitting in a truck for hours. I didn’t even bother to open it. I went to return it, and it said the item is not eligible for return. So, what can I do? I opened it. It was nothing like the tuna from the Italian market, though it was the same company and same can. It had a brown discoloration and a strong odor and the taste was not nearly as good. It was off. So I’m throwing the other three cans away. Tuna should come in an air-conditioned vehicle. These arrived literally on fire. They burned up in transit. I was leery to order tuna through Amazon. But, since it is from Italy, it is not easy to get so I gave it a shot.

I used to buy it back home, it's delicate, i use it in salads to sauces, to casserole dishes. or whatever you want. 2 stars because i found it pricey for my budget.

Having lived in Italy for 6 years I developed a fondness for Italian tuna quickly and Rio Mare is the brand we always used while living there. Much more flavorful than tuna we usually consume in the U.S. Make a tuna sandwich out of Rio Mare tuna and you've got a happy family. Try it. You'll love it. I promise.

I worder SOLID TUNA and I got a crumbled tuna like cottage cheese consistency

Best tuna ever lived in Italy for many years ! This is so much better then American tuna fish . I wish it was easier to get and cheaper I paid 3.00 for 4 pack in Europe ! I need to take a trip back and send a case
