Review: Very easy read with pertinent advise - Very easy read with pertinent advise. I implemented the skill set taught in this book and it works. You can't change how other people communicate but you can change how you communicate with other people. I found myself becoming more at ease and less stressed due to the fact that when I applied the knowledge gained from this book, I knew I was doing it right. Review: Good tips - This books contains good tips about communication basics, and how to handle all sorts of situation at work. It is very focused on the role of manager. It looses one star because I think they give too much details and spend too much time describing some X or Y guy success or failure story, and the last chapter supposed to be the only one to remember is just totally useless. Good overall though.

Good overall.
Most of the information was creatively presented. Some I felt did not represent how I train folks to manage situations. Good overall.

Great value.
Bought this for one of my Assistant Managers. We work in Retail so we have all different personalities in the building. This book has helped her tremendously. Communication is not something that is organic (as in to come naturally) for a lot of people. This book is amazing!
