This brush works well. It's about the size of the sponges that you pour the dishsoap into the handle, it's light, and versatile. The folded blue sponge on top is great for getting into the weirder spots on our stainless pet fountain and the bristles work well to help polish up the outside. I still find myself needing to use steel wool for some of the outer ridges, but this takes care of about 80 - 85% of it. The best part of this brush though is the mini brush that's attached to the handle, it helps to scrub out the small holes and corners you otherwise can't reach giving it a good scrub; that alone is defintely worth the price.Overall this thing is very helpful and is going to get a lot of use!

I've been eyeing this product for awhile but didn't feel like I needed it. I needed a small purchase recently so I could get to $25 in my cart (since I had an add-on item) and decided to finally get this. I'm so glad I did!! It is so useful and cleaning this fountain is no longer a frustrating chore. I can get it clean so much quicker (and better!) with this tool. I keep the small brush end separate from the entire thing as I dry them out after use, but the first time I use it I just put it all back together and dried it that way since there are slots in the handle to let air in. Worked that way too, but I decided to be extra cautious. :)I recommend buying this with the fountain. It is worth it!

This has two sizes of bristles. The obvious bistles on the wand and a second smaller bristle wand at the end of the handle. The white handle "cap" unscrews and is the small bristle wand. It all works okay to clean general dirt - my cat likes to paw in the water and leave traces of dirt; however, if you have hard water like me, the bristles do little to clear lime/calcium buildup in the fountain bowl. My fountain bowl is plastic and it is hard to scrape or scrub away lime buildup on plastic without scratching the plastic which makes the next cleaning that much harder. The only thing to do is scrub the fountain once a week and thereby avoid buildup, in which case the brushes work well

I purchased this fountain cleaning kit to clean the Pioneer Pet Steel Fountain Raindrop Design. I love this brush. It has three components: the larger brush about two inch thick, the blue sponge and a smaller brush about .375 inch thick attached to the handle of the brush on the other end which is white. I like the fact that all three components are on one handle so they will not be lost amongst the other cleaning kits. The larger brush can easily get rid of the water grimes and residues from the fountain and the smaller brush can easily fit in the smaller holes. The blue sponge can gently remove any other stains without scratching the stainless steel fountain. There are several holes in the container where the fountain motor is housed within the water fountain. You can easily reach/clean these smaller holes with the small brush. Once you are done washing and drying your brushes, the smaller brush can be inserted to the end of the brush handle. I prefer to have designated cleaning kits for cat supplies and bird feeders and always disinfecting the sink area to prevent potential bacteria growth or cross contamination with other kitchen cleaning kits. I would highly recommend this brush since it would help you keep your Pet Fountain for many years.

I usually buy the accompanying cleaning supplies when I purchase a new fountain because I want to make sure I'll be able to clean it easily. In the past, I used plastic fountains that got slimy and gross really easily. They had a lot of nooks and crannies that required specially sized implements to get rid of grime. If you have the Pioneer Big Max stainless steel fountain, it comes apart easily and can be completely cleaned with a sponge or your usual dishwashing brush, or just toss the pieces in the dishwasher. This kit would be great for fountains that aren't as easy to clean, but I really didn't need it.

FiINALLY A WATER FOUNTAIN MY CAT WILL USE! We are weaning her off using the toilet to drink from. LOVE it! Got it in white ceramic to resemble toilet bowl. Have only had it about a week and first fountain my cat has been willing to drink from in 20 years.

This product is wonderful. Gets in all the small spaces in in my pet fountain. Makes cleaning so much easier. It was a struggle before to clean. When this one wares out I’ll definitely purchase another just like it.
