Are these good for people with high arches?

I do not think my arches are unusually high but in most cases I personally find orthotics a bit low for me in that area. These are probably a bit higher then normal and overall pretty comfortable.

Good for walking, period, or standing still for that matter. Feet just feel better in general. I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis, and they help a lot, at a fraction of the cost and with much the same effect, as custom orthotics.

Do these rest on top of the original soles or do they replace the original soles?

They replace the original insoles.

Do you buy one pair for each pair of shoes or can I use one pair as needd in different shoes? Asking because they are price.

They are very easy to move between shoes. That said I have mostly used them in tennis shoes or boots. They are not likely to work super well in a high heel or ballet slipper type shoe. There just isn't enough room to fit. I generally leave them in my daily shoes I wear to work as I stand pretty much all day. After about 6 months I get a new pair and move the old into another pair of shoes and repeat this until I have a pair of inserts in about 3 to 4 different pairs of shoes, then I will start throwing the very oldest inserts away and past them down that way.
