I have used this product for quite a while, I love its sturdiness and functionality. I can feel comfort knowing I won’t loose my pole.

I love that these pole holders came with tracks bc you can (with the right attachment/adapter) attach anything to these tracks! You GPS or phone OR tablet, the possibilities are limitless! Definitely recommend for ALL anglers!

I have only installed this but from what I can tell, Its solid and sturdy. My only complaint is that it came with no screws so I bought 8 stainless steel screws from the hardware store for 3 bucks and the install was a snap. I'll take the boat out this weekend but I dont foresee any problems

I do some beach fishing and often on my quad. These will come in handy. Nice low profile mount rack so I can still use my front rack when not in use. I can mount other things as well. Seems to be pretty rigid but its still plastic. Does "not" come with screws (reason for 4 stars) but I went with #10-1" Panhead stainless on mine. Would have like to have gotten black but these are not common in most hardware places. The length was 1inch on the screws. The seem to be pretty firm but you never know when a big red hooks up. I am considering a rifle and a paddle mount for the gator track to see if it would hold my weed eater. This thing has potential to be multi purposed. Careful not to over tighten when using screws. I will probably go with bolts since I can access the backside of the rack. They are smaller than the ones I have on my boat (which has stood the test of time) However with this particular application I can appreciate that.

Used on my kayak. Much needed equipment for the kayak fishermen. I enjoy the adjustability, can tuck rod parallel with vessel while moving spots.Recommend

I like the low profile rail. Use it on my kayak. Works really well because you can move the rod holder forward and back to position it better then a fixed mount. Also, the fixed mounts protrude a lot more and this mount is very low profile and doesn't interfere if your not using the rod holder. Plus you can mount other items to your kayak or boat other then just the rod holders. One thing to note is that you have just a little over 3 inches of travel for mounting locations. You loose about an inch of usable space. So the total length is 4 inches but you can only use 3 inches for mounting. Also, they make an 8 inch rail if you need more options to mount or want to mount multiple items. Overall these are really nice and seem to be a better option then a regular rod holder because of the flexability and low profile.

I made the decision to spend a little extra on this mount since I preferred not to have to mount in the pocket of my kayak, and another reviewer has the same yak I do (Future Beach Trophy 126), so I knew the rail could fit along the side edge. After taking it out on the water it seems to work as hoped. It's easy to tighten and adjust, as well as remove the holder with the quick release.

When you're out on the water in a kayak, the last thing you want to worry about are the fishing rods. Having this holder is great when you want an extra spot to hold some spare rods. It has infinitely adjustable angles so if you want to troll with it while you paddle, that works as well. Great materials, quick disconnect, everything just works.

This "Scotty" brand rod holder is very secure, sturdy and lightweight. It when used in conjunction with the "Scotty" mounts offers a very practical method of fitting rod holders to virtually and position on your boat. I would highly recommend this product to anybody considering fitting rod holders to a fishing kayak.

A little disappointed with the packaging. Does not even have a bubble wraps to it. Also the item brand was missing on the product itself. Makes it look like a copy product.
