I wasn't sure if this product would work...had my doubts, but since I'm very much into natural insect repellants whenever possible (as opposed to chemical concoctions,) I decided I'd give it a try.<<Side note: I'd tried flea and tick control essential oil sprays for my dog, they did not work for us. Word of warning - don't EVER apply essential oil straight onto your dog. Do your research. Some are HIGHLY toxic. Unless you're well-versed in what you're doing - avoid essential oils for pets.>>Back to this product - it works amazing.Taste Review:My dog does not like the taste, so I have to crumble these into her food and then I usually add something tasty to the food - a raw egg, a capsule of fish oil, etc...something to make it gravy-ish. If I don't have any tasty element on hand, I simply add warm water and it makes it into a gravy and she eats it.Timing Post-Infestation:We had a flea infestation in our neighborhood in early spring, and I was beginning to get them in the house. Gross! I did all the natural stuff to get rid of them in the house, like diatomaceous earth and TONS and TONS of vacuuming. I was concerned that this product would be strong enough to repel a full-on infestation and didn't want to risk it getting worse, so I broke down and gave my dog some Advantix. This was back in May. (Advantix lasts about 4 weeks.)I ordered this product in early June, well after the four weeks of Advantix and the fleas have not been back. Nothing. No bites on her. No bites on me. I haven't had to resort to Advantix. I haven't had to use any more diatomaceous earth, either.Amazing product and super easy!I'll update again in the fall, as our flea season tends to be last through fall.

We purchased this product for a more natural solution to fleas. Living in the country, our indoor dogs still always manage to get the pesky fleas in spring/summer. This year, we did not want to go to the "other" 3-month solution.After purchasing, we waited two weeks before giving up. The problem did not improve and almost seemed to get worse. Yes, I know that living in the country and having your indoor dogs go outside to the restroom invites them in, but our dogs stay in the mowed yard and never outside for more than 5 minutes at a time (unless on a walk).

Couldn't find anything when I ordered this that gave me an idea of how many treats. Recommended 5 for over 90 lbs. Something I have come to accept with giant breed dogs. I have 4 adult Irish Wolfhounds and I finally found an estimated count of somewhere between 110-115. This will only last about 6 days. I would need to order 5 containers to go a month. No longer cost effective. ColoradoDog needs to offer a larger container reasonably priced to make it cost effective for my situation. Dogs absolutely loved the taste. Presentation lacked count of treats. Overall I'm disappointed that there isn't a larger container offered so I can go a full month and determine if this product works.

If you have a dog and want it to have a quality life consider purchasing this all natural product for flea and tick prevention. Big Pharma could care less about dogs longevity.

I loved this product when I received it, however when I showed it to the vet e were encouraged not to use the product because the primary listed ingredient is toxic to dogs. I did contact the seller and they assured me that this was not true and the product was safe and provided me with some information. I like the convenience and price of the product and my dogs liked the taste. The product worked well and quickly with the aid of a topical natural spray. Do your research and decide for yourself.

OMG I have 7 dogs .. don’t ask .. all rescues .. This product is awesome .. fleas started jumping off the furbabies the first time i gave them these treats .. though i have to say some have a request for a better taste .. mmmm maybe peanut butter is better just to cover up all the stuff inside.. some people complained that this product was all crumbled in the package but i can say that this product is now moist and well put together they will not fall apart even if you smash them with a spoon , they just pancake .. so other than the smell, which isn’t all that bad but could be better .. and other than the flavor that I have to disguise for some of the dogs. This product works so well the fleas start jumping the first day..🤗

My dog doesn’t have a flea problem so I can’t speak for effectiveness on fleas but did not prevent ticks from feeding on my dog. He has long black fur & I check as thoroughly as I can but found an engorged tick under his eye the other morning. Will be spraying my yard next as I have yet to find a natural product that works on ticks. He ate the treats (2 per day-he’s 15lbs) so I’ll give 2 stars since they were edible.

Ok I have 5 dogs from 10 pounds to 110, and I have really struggled to find adequate, reasonably-priced flea treatment. So I decided to give these a try. We have now been using them for three months and I have not seen a flea since, and it’s incredible. I was spending at least 100$ a month trying to combat the flea issue, plus bombing the house with chemicals every few months. Now I spend about 30, and it’s actually effective, AND my dogs like them. I crumble one over their breakfast, and then the bigger dogs get another in their dinner. None of the dogs gets ill or has a weird smell (Well, except for Walter, but he’s 19 and has always smelled awful, lol.) Give them a try! They may take a while for you but I noticed a difference within days. Thank you Ecoflea, you are a life and sanity saver.❤️
