Incredible product A+++ Love these Heated Roof Cables!
I got the 62ft cable. I noticed water dripping into my house from the crawlspace above it. It was leaking through the window frame so thankfully I will have minimal molding as it's exiting and will dry out.The day after I saw the dripping I ordered this product. The selling point for me was that the cable itself is durable enough and safe enough that it can be overlapped and not short out or catch fire. It's been very very cold here this winter in MN, the roof is hard and iced over so there's no way I could install it properly in those conditions. I plugged in the cable and unfurled it and laid the loops of cable across the ice dam above my leaking window. Within the day, the cables had cut through the ice and I was able to climb my ladder and yank out big 2 ft pieces of ice to allow melting ice water to properly flow down the gutter. I used a roof rake to pull the snow off above the dam and NO MORE LEAKS! You can even place this cable into the gutters to ensure they'll perform for you in the cold.Admittedly the portion of roof I was working with is probably 20 ft long so I didn't really need 62 feet. Not for the purpose I was using it for at least.... I do plan on installing the wire with clips this spring/summer but may need an additional cable for the rest of the roof. This was a great great great solution for a roof that I could barely reach on my 25 foot ladder. If you have a higher or more precarious roof, of course have a local handyman install it. Don't risk hurting yourself. I'm agile and surefooted so I wasn't that concerned about my wellbeing lol.Really this is so so so worth it. Don't wait til you get heavy damage in your ceiling or walls and have to contact your home insurance team to replace walls and cost you your deductible. Also remember to clean your gutters in the fall so they can hopefully keep up with most of the snow (that'll save you more time and money in the long run too)Even with my vented and insulated crawlspaces and the gutter screen guards I have installed, I still got some leakage. This is a great thing to have when you can simply plug it in and know that it'll get the job done.A+ product. I've recommended it to a lot of friends already.

works as it should
works great and is definitely high quality. at this price point i wish it would have come with clips verses having to buy them seperately.

Really should have been a 5-star, but....
We install heat tape professionally as part of our rain gutter business. We have installed miles of the stuff, and this is absolutely one of our favorite pre-built options. It's the flat commercial style and it seems to work well - our customers here have loved it so far - and Utah winters are brutal. Built well, installs smoothly, arrived quickly, we absolutely love this brand and its our go-to if we don't just build our own.So why not 5 stars then? Two reasons - first, it doesn't come with basic roof clips. Why? Because since this is commercial, the roof-clip makers take you to the cleaners. They are SUPER expensive when you are doing a large job. However, for the price I'm paying I would expect some included.Second, and I say this a lot, but I think this tape is over priced per linear foot. We usually just buy a spool and cut/build our own (which doesn't take long), but we've been so busy lately that it's easier to just buy what we need pre-assembled. It has some downsides, such as all the extra "wasted" tape you have to shove in the downspout - but paid a premium price for. When you build your own, you make it exactly the right size and don't waste tape. So we will try to build as much as we can, but if they offered this wholesale in bulk and made it more competitive, I'd just buy this for every install - its a great product and I highly recommend it.

Get the small clips that separate the cables. Much easier.
Installed the heated cable on our metal roof valleys and used the small clips that keep the cables separated.Taped the clips to the cables to prevent sliding of the cables.Had one small issue so I contacted the Radiant Solution business directly. Within 2 emails my issue was resolved totally. Doesn't get any better than that for customer service!! These are great cables to prevent ice dam buildupsHighly recommend Radiant Solutions!

Great Product and Excellent Customer Service
I purchased the 100' and the 150' Heat Tape Pro for my home and couldn't be happier with the products and the customer service. I have a 4/12 roof pitch (i.e., fairly flat) and we get a lot of wet snow where I live. Prior to installing the heat tape, I was on the roof several times each winter shoveling or sweeping snow off the north side because it gets very little sun and the snow would accumulate in the valleys and gutters where it would freeze. The Heat Tape Pro product surpasses the quality of other heat tape I have seen and it works well on my roof, so much so, I no longer have to get on my roof in the winter.A feature on the Heat Tape Pro that Radiant Solutions Company calls a "GlowCap" illuminates to let you know that the heat tape is functioning properly when plugged in. The GlowCap on my 150' tape developed a crack, the cause is unknown but could have been from an owl or other animal, or possibly from a deep freeze. I contacted Radiant Solutions Company, explained the problem, provided photos, and in three days I had a replacement tape. Customer service was knowledgable, personable and professional! A lot of companies provide great products, but not all companies provide great customer service. Radiant Solutions Company is one that provides both.I was not compensated to provide this review, but I do think it is important to recognize exceptionalism whenever I come across it.

Works as Promised
Used these in my gutters to keep them flowing through very cold Saskatchewan winter. Came quickly and very well packaged. Love the extra long 10ft cord for reaching outlet and the light at the end showing they are plugged in. Bought another cord once I saw the quality. Winter is just beginning so will update in Spring.

This is THE heating cable!
With a low-slope roof, we depend on having good quality heating cables in our 7 downspouts. Over time, the ones provided by our builder are failing. I ordered 2 replacements from Radiant Solutions and they are absolutely superb quality. I can easily see these lasting far beyond the life span of the builder's cables. The fact that the connections are done at the factory, instead of after market, makes them far less likely to fail. The thickness of the cables is also superior to others we've seen. The glow of the plug and the light at the end of the cable, make it easy to see when we've turned them on. Very happy with this product and will do our best to only use this company's heating cables in future.

Prevent ice dams on south facing roof
For two winters, mine is the only house in a row of south-facing townhouses that never has icicles. The cable runs though the gutter and drain pipe, and keeps them clear if left on all the time.Prior to installing this cable, I had to go up on the roof to clear ice throughout the winter. I can now say that this cable completely solved that problem.

Works great; worth the money
We have a 1:12 slope roof and there is almost no insulation in the (uphill) roof of the original part of the house. The snow melts and trickles down to the well insulated part. We used to get massive icicles that looked like they would tear the corner of the house off. These are the first cables strong enough to keep a path melted so the water gets to the ground. See the 8' stalagmite from one of the loops. Excellent product.
