Fantastic board game
One of my favourite board games! The Japanese folklore theme is interesting and everything is beautifully illustrated, from the board to all the components. Overall quality is very high and the game is very fun.But do be aware Bitoku is a complex game that comes with a large rulebook. It will take at least 2-3 hours to play and requires a commitment to learn and then to teach the game. You and your fellow gamers will need patience! If you want a casual game that is quick to learn and play, look elsewhere.

A Perfect Euro Game with Ghibli Style Artwork
We have played this several times now, and it is always a joy. There are so many avenues to victory you can explore.A word of warning, this game is rules and strategy heavy, don't let the cute artwork fool you! It is a crunchy euro game, fo sure.It is great value for money, as the box is crammed full of beautiful components and screen-printed meeples.

Stunning game with a lot inside the box
This game is beautiful and the box is packed with components and weighs a tonne... The game? The game is good, not great. Complicated for the sake of complication is how I would describe it.Make sure you have set it up ahead of time because it's a chore, all those components make setup a bit of a nightmare. The game is pretty heavy in terms of complexity and the beautiful board looks quite intimidating at first but the game plays pretty smooth. Bit of a steep learning curve on iconography but once you get over the hump the game plays quite nicely. If you want a beautiful game to spend an evening with and don't mind the learning curve bitoku is worth your time
