Panier des SensHand Cream, Sweet Almond, 2.6 Ounce

I bought this in my quest to find a winter-weather moisturizer that smelled like Crabtree & Evelyn's Sweet Almond Oil lotion (which wasn't keeping my hands moisturized enough during the winter). This is as close as I've come to matching the very distinctive almond smell of C&E. It's got a hair more citrus to the scent than C&E, but it's a good alternative. Importantly for me, the scent isn't overwhelming, and dissipates within about ten minutes of application. I've tried L'Occitane's almond hand cream, and the scent from that is much stronger and lingers a lot longer on the skin. As someone with a semi-sensitive nose, L'Occitane would sometimes give me a headache. The Panier des Sens almond cream doesn't do that. It smells lovely as I'm applying it to my hands, and then fades out as it absorbs.The cream itself has a nice, lightweight texture similar to L'Occitane's Almond hand cream, but it packs a better punch moisture-wise. It takes a moment to fully absorb, but for me, all the oils and such are absorbed 1-2 minutes after I apply the cream, so I don't feel like I'm leaving greasy fingerprints on everything for the next half hour. I'd highly recommend Panier des Sens to anyone looking for a good almond-scented winter hand cream.

This hand cream is wonderful. It leaves your hands so soft and the almond fragrance is awesome.

This cream is very soothing to my hands. It has a light sweet scent that is not overwhelming. I highly recommend this for anyone with dry hands.

So I got this hand cream and noticed it didn't have a foil top which usually comes with Panier creams (actually all toiletry products have some kind of seal). I also noticed the bottle looked like it had been squeezed. I had ordered two. The other one was the same although the tube was not as squeezed with the second one. Did we receive a sample from some kind of store? Or products someone else returned? My thinking is yes. I actually love the smell but this was definitely in someone else's possession before me. I'll be returning.

This lotion is very runny! I think it probably got bad in the warehouse or transportation from France. I purchased 2 from this brand while in France, with different scents: lavender and verbena. They were both very thick and moisturizing, especially the lavender one. Perfect for dry winter hands. I was excited when I found it on Amazon, and decided to try the Almond scent. This is very runny, difficult even to control how much it comes out of the tube. Even being a different scent, I don’t think this is supposed to be runny, or it wouldn’t be packed in a tube! I think it was poorly stored.So upsetting! It still works as a good and oily moisturizer, but hard to manage. And the smell is very earthy, like the bitter almonds. Notthing like the almond scent froml’occitane, for example

Love the fragrance. Bought it again because I also loved the richness. But no more. If I lay the tube on its side, it pours freely. I have 2 older partially finished tubes and they are definitely thicker.

I loved this lotion. It is not greasy, it has a wonderful almond scent- not too overpowering. Great value!

Goes on very smooth makes your skin feel nice and fresh. I gave them as a gift, my friend loved it as well. Smeels wonderful. I would buy this again.

Die Konsistenz ist reichhaltig, zieht gut ein. Man fühlt sich gepflegt. Der Duft ist angenehm warm nach Marzipan riechend. Großartig. Habe bereits nachgekauft!
