Perfect for post abdominal surgery!
Most abdominal surgeries come with restrictions biggest one being no bending down or using abdominal muscles. Well the best thing about this binder is that it prevents you from doing things you are not supposed to! (Which I’m always guilty of)It is also comfortable and helps with stability in walking as well as posture! The fit was perfect and I will definitely be purchasing more as needed in the future! Doesn’t hurt to have a back up! Also a big bonus is that on the tighter compression settings you get a snatched waist!!!

Lifesaver after surgery
I recently had abdominal surgery and will need support and protection for several months. I wear this over a tank top, and find it comfortable even during hot weather. Doesn’t show too much under my clothing. I had a binder given to me at the hospital but this one is so much better, even though it was expensive it has been very durable

Works Really Well!
I needed this item for post op support back in January I had an ovary, fallopian tube, and a cyste removed. It left me with a 6 inch vertical incision I needed to support on my abdomen during recovery. I believe I ordered the XL size and it was true to size, it felt tight and stiff at first but the longer I wore it for the tighter I could pull it together and the more flexibility it had under my clothes. I did like the side straps that could be adjusted for further support anywhere on the binder.I do recommend wearing a shirt or tank top underneath the binder itself though, I wore it the first night I received it without a shirt, I put it on with just my incision dressings underneath. I woke up in the morning to take the binder off to shower because I felt like it stuck to my skin and I had tiny lines going all up and down stomach and back from the inside of the binder. iIf you wear a layer between it you'll feel more comfortable and it won't "stick" to your skin. I used it for several weeks day and night and it held up WAY better than the 2 free stretchy binders the hospital discharged me with. This is a great choice if you need something sturdy to support your abdomen or waist during healing 🙂🩹🏥

Highly recommended.
I have a ventral hernia on my right side. I have already had this repaired once, and have currently chosen to live with it. I get new binders almost monthly. This is one of the strongest I have come across and it has continued holding my hernia better than any others I've had. Only issue is that it's difficult to put on because the Velcro is so tight, the teeth grab and it often needs to be repositioned and smoothed out. I would not change the design at all though, this is just something I deal with in putting it on, but because it grabs so much, it also gives an excellent amount of support and pain relief! Also, it does run a little small. I wish it were about 1-2" larger. Highly recommended.

The most comfortable binder I own and the only one that DOESN'T ROLL over.
If I could only afford one binder, this would be the one. Of all the binders I have this is the most comfortable, but not the most slim under clothing. This binder WILL NOT ROLL OVER, it is the only one I have that is like that and the quality of this binder is much higher than the other Ortonyx models. I always put this binder on when I get home because it is so comfortable, but I frequently wear a different binder during the day as this one is noticeable under clothing. I sleep in a binder and this is the one. The Ortonyx ACOX524010 is also a great binder if you want one that slims under your clothes, it is less comfortable and it rolls badly if not rolled up for storage daily, but is very slimming.

Just dont
Ok so this one is strange. Had a tummy tuck, reconstructive surgery and muscle repair. Searched and searched and finally settled on three different kinds. This one being number two. Pretty good material. Starts off strong and then dies alone on a hill in a foreign land- useless. It does pucker, punch and pull right below the rib cage. The material gathers throughout the day making it a nightmare to be comfortable with any sort of activity. Working two weeks tops the Velcro is absolutely shot. The material has stretched beyond recognition or repair. The waist strap will not stay in place and it becomes very painful to wear. The shifting and twisting will drive you insane
