I ordered this projector fully knowing that it wasn't going to be the most hi-tech device in the world, but still willing to take a shot on it because it's not that expensive if it fails, and yes, it does provide a very soothing atmosphere to the rooms I put it in. The colors are vibrant and relaxing to look at, the stars are plentiful and have the option to flash or stay on/off (a feature not many of the other projectors seem to include), and I even found myself pleasantly surprised that the noise effects were a little better than I initially thought they'd be. The projector's light and laser are pretty bright and light up a dark room a fair bit, so, if you're like me and need the room to be somewhat dark to fall asleep, then you'll probably just end up shutting the projector off manually, with the remote, or with the app before the timer runs its course. It is nice to know that it shuts off eventually if you happen to leave it on though. The surface area that the light covers greatly depends on what type of room you're using the device in and where you place it in said room (are there a lot of obstacles obstructing the light or not?/ is it on the ground or a table?/ etc. ). I find that its effects work particularly well in rooms with high ceilings because it covers a much broader surface area than on a traditional bedroom ceiling.Overall, the projector serves its primary function. However, I do have one prominent complaint. It just doesn't seem to be able to connect to the app(s). Despite my numerous attempts to try to get the projector to initiate the pairing mode that's necessary to register the device with the associated apps, it just never happened. I'm not unfamiliar with the app registering process with these types of devices and have successfully connected various other devices using the same methods before. It's not the app that's causing the problem, it's the device's unfortunate lack of ability to switch into pairing mode when prompted. I researched the issue and others have experienced the same dilemma with no true solution to the problem. It's not crucial to have the app for the projector to function, but I would have at least liked to have had the option of using the app in case the remote decided to fail on me. And I'd definitely expect the app feature to function if it's being advertised as a key feature of the product. With the one complaint I have aside, yes this product is cheap, but it's still a solid piece of entertainment to add to your life if you're in the market for inexpensive light projectors and good vibes.

So I was so excited to get this thing and basically from the moment it was unable to be returned it started glitching out. The lights stopped waving and now the stars don’t work. Something is definitely rattling around in it and so I’m sure we probably received it broken. Thank goodness it wasn’t that expensive but I would not buy this particular one again.

My 6 year old loves her 'star light' and enjoys using the remote to change the colors and sounds. It really does make very cool lights on her ceiling, pretty relaxing. I'm not very impressed with the timer function (caveat is that I haven't tried using the app) as we have tried on many occasions to turn the timer off according to the directions for the remote and the light/sound stills turns off in the middle of the night. So, my kid wakes up and then has to turn it back on...and when it turns on it says 'Bluetooth mode' loudly and starts any sound you pick at full volume. Not great at 3:00 am!

I love this light. It has many options to customize the light and pattern and plays several noises, including one song that is very beautiful. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't remember your settings each time you turn it on, and it is not super easy to adjust - I find it's easiest to do it on the phone. I wish it were easier to adjust or remembered the settings so that caregivers who do not have the app could use it more easily.

I tried a few times to connect this device following the directions got frustrated and did my own thing and got it to connect.

Pretty projections with nice dimming feature and built in sounds. The "star projection" feature is a little harsh and I would have liked if it had the ability to stay on until turned off manually (has options for 2 and 4 hours I believe), but overall a pretty nice projector.

The light is great. Loved it when I first got it. I would have left a higher review but the projector rotating feature stopped working a week ago. 😕 I don't know how to reach out to the seller to see if they can help.
