My beardie really likes this food. It smells atrocious, so you know it must be full of nasty bug-goodness. I love this product because I can't always get live bugs, and its really easy to feed when you're short on time.A tip for anyone who purchases for the first time: Follow the instructions! Measure very carefully. I do 1 teaspoon of dry to 3 teaspoons of boiling water in a shot glass, and only mix it about 4-5 times with a small stir stick. If you overmix, it will not set properly. I definitely wasted a bit of product trying to get it right.Pros: Nutritious for dragons, easy to mix once you get the hang of it, also provides hydration.Cons: Learning curve on how to mix it properly.

I have been feeding this daily, for about a month now. Directions are wonderful! You have to follow them pretty strictly. I feed it both by hand and put it in her food dish. She eats all of it each day!She even prefers it over her crickets!! Which used to be her favorite! I was looking for an easier food that included more nutrition.And this is it!I don’t love the smell but she does! I mean the ingredients include bugs so IDidn’t expect it to smell like candy. Haha it creates a nice poo daily too. Before this food she would go days without a poo. great product! We will be long time customers!

Update - the seller contacted me after reading this review & offered a refund without me asking. I’m impressed with the seller.This sounded like such a great idea & may be for some.I had a very hard time with the smell even making it. Our beardos refused to eat it - all of them. Even with bee pollen on it.The smell disposing of the rest of the molded over product was not as strong as making it, but all I remember is the gag.

My picky dragons were struggling to eat greens and other vegetables and I was worried about their health.I tried this gel mix out of desperation and hope that Trogdor and Black-Beard would eat it.They LOVE it! I am in awe of how excited they are to eat this gel. I still provide fresh greens and some live bugs daily, but since the gel is a complete diet- I no longer worry if they don't eat anything else.The gel is easy to make and can be made in advance to plan for the week. The smell when you mix it is kind of gross, but diminishes once it solidifies.
