Metal Cat Litter Scoop, Fast Sifter with Long Handle Deep Shovel Pet Easy Cleaning Tool Non Stick Poop Pickers

I have a couple of Catit Jumbo litter boxes which hold a lot of litter when filled to the correct depth (about 20 litres each!). When combined with that fact that I'm currently using a fairly coarse wood-based clumping litter (Cat's Best), the daily sift on the litter boxes can be a dusty and tiresome affair. In the hope that this scoop would help with this, partly due to it's size, and partly due to the larger gaps in the scoop, I ordered one to try it out.I have to say that it has worked out just as well as I hoped, and in fact I have already ordered another just so I have another one as a backup. The larger width and depth allows me to quickly sift through the litter box in 3 or 4 vertical sections, and the large gaps in the scoop allow me to sift out the clean litter with a brief shake or 2, saving time and generating far less dust (tip the scoop back towards you to use the larger rear gaps for the best effect).Of course, given it's strong metal construction, I expect this will effectively last indefinitely, and it's very easy to clean too, not that much sticks to it in the first place.I note that some people have marked it down for it's size, but given that the listed measurements are accurate (I've checked), this is somewhat baffling. If you're too lazy to get up and go and grab a tape measure to see how those measurements are going to look in reality, that's on you!So overall, this is a brilliant scoop for people using large litter boxes and/or coarse clumping litter. It might be overkill for small litter boxes, and I expect it's wouldn't work especially well for non-clumping litter, but that's just common sense. If it does fit your needs though, I suspect this will be the last litter scoop you ever buy, and at the current price of £8.99 it's an absolute bargain!

Much better than my old plastic one. Quite big so clears the tray in a couple of scoops. Sturdy, it feels like it's made to last.

Absolutely useless, far too large for cleaning out a litter tray. Also can't scoop waste into a poop bag as the scoop is about 10x the size of the poop bags. Makes the job of cleaning out a litter tray much harder and messier than it needs to be

Does exactly what it needs too, it scoops the yuk, let's the good litter drop through.I've used plastic scoops so far & never liked them. Purchased this one & I'd never use another type again.I've got 4 house cats so gets used daily & has been great
