Jekayla Stainless Steel Candle Wick Trimmer Scissor Cutter Snuffers (Golden)

Very pretty, looks nice sitting out. Works fine for wicks that have been burned and are blackened, but I have found it VERY challenging to trim down a fresh wick before first use. Not quite sharp enough for that.

I bought this trimmer because I misplaced my Yankee trimmer and needed to have one ASAP. It actually was a second choice because the first one I ordered from a different company had transportation issues and could not deliver theirs quickly so I just ordered this one thinking good I will have two and will never be without one. This trimmer is terrible, I ended up using my toenail clipper to cut my wicks instead. It is too short to actually get a good grip on the candle wick. And once you do get a grip the cut scatters the fibers of the wick . This is not supposed to happen when you cut the wick it should stay intact. It aaffects how it will burn. I quickly just went to Yankee website and just ordered another one of their wick trimmers. And quess what today I found my original trimmer from them. So thank goodness now I will have two of them when the one I ordered arrives. What will I do with this one and the other one I ordered? Both are In the trash because that is where they belong.

These do a great job of trimming wicks. They are long enough to do the job on a large jar candle. And bonus - they are very pretty

Trims wicks to 1/4" length and holds the trimmings on top of the cutters, great!

Nice gold color, heavy weight (solid), clips wick good. All good so far!
