SkyBell PP02301SL | HD Wi-Fi Video Doorbell Silver

This is a great doorbell. The video is fantastic. Easy to install. I would not hesitate to purchase. I love the fact that you don't have to pay a monthly fee like you do with the RING doorbell.

This Skybell did not last long for us. It stopped working within product manufacture warranty, when we reached out to support and requested return and refund, I was told they will not authorize any refund, only thing they can do is to trouble shoot with me. We are very busy, we bought the smart door bell is to secure our home, but not to spend lots of time for troubleshooting and left home unmonitored. We were very frustrated so decided to buy Ring and replaced it. Not a recommended buy of skybell. My entire purchase experience in Amazon for many, many years, this is the only vendor does not have good return policy. Their support is not customer friendly at all.

Great product! We originally had the Skybell Classic, then Upgraded to the Hd. Well worth the price. It's free to save recordings. You don't have to pay monthly fees. I highly recommend this product. Night vision works great.

Will not stay connected to Wi-Fi. After 5th attempt, I finally got it to connect to my Wi-Fi. Then it reboots every couple of minutes. Returning.

I purchased this because a monthly monitoring service was not required. Unfortunately, I was not able to get it to connect to my wifi. I tried the trouble shooting suggestions on their web site but still could not get it to connect. I called tech support and left a message after sitting on hold for 15 minutes. Tech support never returned my call. In the mean time, I purchased a Ring wifi video doorbell and had the same problem connecting it to my wifi but their tech support answered my phone call right away and was able to fix the problem in just a few steps. I kept the Ring and returned the SkyBell because Ring has better tech support should I have problems in the future.

the one i purchased sleeps. it runs green for 1 minute and then goes to sleep.it will not connect to my phone to install.

This is about the worst doorbell camera I have ever used.Their cloud service is constantly down, they finally went to AWS which didn't resolve anything b/c the software is so poorly written to optimize the code, half the videos don't get uploaded to the cloud despite how great the wifi signal is.Customer service tells you to reset the doorbell as a band aid to the problem rather than the developers fixing the poorly written firmware. They don't even have updates for this model as they focused on the new model. The app reviews on google play and apples store should say a lot about this company and door bell.If you even dare to use 1080p your live stream will be black for a good 30seconds to a minute before a picture comes on. This has nothing to do with wifi signal as mine is over 90% and over close to 500mbps down and 50mbps upload. The product just does not perform well and there is no excuse.The previous service manager who I reported bugs to over the past 2 years finally had enough with this company and left. I'm shocked this company is still in business frankly with how poorly their product works.

First of im gonna talk about reliability this door bell died within 3 years of light use. can you belive a expensive door bell just dies after 3 years now it doesn't connect to wifi and it also doesnt work no more i punched it 5 times it started ringing the bell some how which is odd i wish it came with a longer warranty i would recommend buy a Ring bell or something else because a ring bell only costs 40$ this costs 200 or when i bought it 300$ you are basically paying a subscription sence it dies. Quality is so bad its worse than 720p customer support doesnt care about anything if you want to save your money go for something else
